I did mean to write this a month and a half ago. Sorry for the delay. I needed to say what a lovely meal I had for my birthday. The atmosphere was great. Food was superb. Lovely! And they heard it was my birthday so brought out a board with Happy Birthday on and some complimentary ice cream.
We attended on a quiet Monday evening and the atmosphere of the restaurant was great. The staff were all very friendly and bubbly. Answered all the questions and helped us with some recommendations.
The food was great. Started with the one bite salmon and curried balls. Both fantastic. The mains wer
A wonderful addition to the Thai restaurant scene in Nottingham.
Went here for a birthday meal out and had a great time.
The staff (Nicole was our waitress) were attentive, friendly and gave us recommendations on dishes which we ordered and thoroughly enjoyed.
The food came out in good time, was pi
Alex was amazing! He was SO attentive with us, recommended some of the dishes on the menu and made our anniversary meal perfect!
An credit to the company!
First time visiting and was not disappointed.
The site is easily accessible with wide doors and ramp.
We were met by staff at the door and greeted with a smile. My booking included a wheelchair user.
The restaurant is nicely decorated and bright and vibrant. There are lots of tables, but it does no
Visited for the first time this weekend for our anniversary meal and will definitely be returning! Our server Alex was very helpful, the restaurant was beautifully decorated and the food was amazing!

This is my second review - the original one is missing. Simply the best Thai option available in Nottingham. Great interiors, superb service and yet inclusive, doesn't feel upmarket.
When my family and I went to Giggling, we were welcome by very friendly members of staff. I am a wheelchair user and the accessibility is good. Also the disabled toilet was very clean, smelt beautifully and is one of the most beautifully decorated disabled toilet I have used.
We had a lovely person
Lovely place for a bite to eat, went with the mother and father. Really nice top quality food, great Atmosphere and brilliant staff
What a Gem! Nottingham is full of good restaurants, serving all types of cuisine. Giggling Squid is an absolute gem. There is covered, heated outside seating in winters and open air seating in the summers, in addition to the regular seating. Contemporary decor, courteous staff, a great selection of
First visit after recommendation from a friend.
Plenty of parking available nearby.
Lovely ambiance to the place. Friendly welcome from the staff.
Comfortable chairs and pleasant surroundings.
We asked for a quieter table which was accommodated for us in a little side area, as the front of restauran
Turned up 40mins early for a 7.30 booking and this was no problem. Seated immediately in a busy restaurant. Staff and service was excellent and the food was very good.
Soft drink prices were not so pleasing. I will return but I will be sure I'm not driving at least I can enjoy a beer and not a £3.50
Always go yearly to celebrate a shared birthday with my friend. Waiter was excellent and funny. Good food.
A last minute birthday treat, randomly chosen because they were still serving food at 9pm. The salmon starter was so good I could have eaten it 3 times over and the massaman curry was divine. The service was excellent & 10% would have been happily & freely given. If poor service the tip (if any)
Beautiful place inside. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Good menu choice. Starters beautiful. Thai green curry and Sticky chicken nice but the melting beef was very fatty. £15 wasted there, could not eat much of it. Would try the Chicken pad Thai next time. Otherwise great experience.
What is nicer than sitting on the terrace of a restaurant on a mild spring day, sipping a cocktail and waiting for your Thai tapas?
The Giggling Squid is a fairly new establishment on the site of the former Monkey Tree in West Bridgford. The place offers Thai food, tapas-style, way more interesting
Food was delicious. However, the portion isn't big enough for the money you pay. It probably would only just feed my child. (I'm not a big person either! Probably 12 stone) It came warm, had to heat it up. Would have been 5 stars other than that.. Would visit but wouldn't rush or be my first choice.
