We’ve been here many times. The atmosphere is second to none, the food is lovely and if very good quality (not cheap though) but the service is not up to the same standards. Nothing bad happened, but I think they must struggle to hire professional waiters, so they have to rely on local, middle class kids (nothing wrong with that) who don’t seem to have a guest-centric mindset. One example of many; asked for the drinks to come with the food, but not before. The waitress’ eyes rolled all the way to the back of her head (!) Other than that, lovely lovely place.
A lovely location to eat in. After (or even before) your visit to YSP you can eat some tasty food here and enjoy some sweet treats afterwards.
We visited on a Saturday afternoon and it was still possible to eat without a reservation which was lucky.
Gluten free options are a little complicated - you are given a separate print out with a chart to try and work out what you can eat or not, and asking the staff, as friendly as they were, wasn't much help either as they didn't know what some of the items were on the menu unfortunately.
The restaurant and souvenir shop are situated inside the sculpture park. The atmosphere and settings of the restaurant are warm and cosy. It is surrounded by great picturesque views. Unexpectedly, the quality of the food and the service are excellent.
Visited The Weston on multiple occasions and it's been lovely every time. Staff are great, the food is excellent with generous portion sizes. Lovely, chilled out atmosphere. The adjoining gift shop and gallery are worth a look too.
Excellent Sculpture Grounds specially on a Sunny day. Wildlife everywhere. Totally worth £6 entry fee which includes parking charge. At the end of a long walk head into the The Weston Cafe which service lovely food but a bit over priced for my liking but apart from that excellent day... 🙂👍🏼
Interesting building containing a great restaurant with friendly staff who know their menu. The gallery / exhibition space is striking. It was showing Miro prints which I liked more than I expected. Good useful information was provided. Shop had a mixture. Some useful, some charming some expensive. Worth exploring though.
Oh my god, the food. The food. Oh my god. I guess the art, architecture and the views are pretty good too but it's the meal I'll be back for, as often as I can afford it. Really clearly labelled options for those with special diets, good service and surprisingly reasonable prices (the "small plates" aren't that small).
Great place for a family outing. Even if you don't appreciate sculptures, you can enjoy the views. Little busy than a normal park. Restaurant is much better than a tea shop.
We visited The Weston with friends and their young children. It was really convenient as it has a separate car park to the main Yorkshire Sculpture Park area.
From the restaurant you can access the main park as there is a kiosk for tickets.
Had lunch today with my daughter and parents.
Special thanks to Marie and Linda who were lovely...and the chefs. The food was fantastic.
Interesting menu with lovely choice of dishes
We were all totally satisfied.
Fab location..will definitely return
Stopped here whilst on a visit to Yorkshire sculpture park. Had coffees and fruit scones with gin jam and cream. Both were delicious. The coffee was the best we’d had in five days in Yorkshire. The service was good and speedy.
Excellent service and superb food. The slow cooke shin beef and onion has was ideal on a cold day, with a side of root mash.Finished off with a mocha and delicious, warm mince pie.
The whole park is an amazing place that can take a full day to get around. I've visited numerous times and never get bored. The Weston Centre has a fantastic restaurant with great menu choices and high quality food.
The Service Here Is Exemplary, I've Had Coffee On Several Occasions And Am Delighted To Be Taking Lunch Here Today. They Have A Couple Of Vegan Options Available Alongside There Other Wonderful Offerings. I've Chosen Curried Parsnip And Split Pea, Madras Oil And Caramelised Cashews. It Is As Good As It Looks And Tastes So Good. I Can Highly Recommend The Reataurant At The Weston And Give It A Well Diserved ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 Borderline Eleven 😎 🌞 👌

Different entrance to YSP, or visit in it's own right. Small gallery, YSP shop and restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating and fine views. Good for access to the lake and chapel (entrance fee payable)
We had a flat white each and sat out in the sun on Mother’s Day. Was absolutely lovely, staff friendly and nice. Prices are a bit high but worth it for the beautiful surrounding.

Large, light, beautifully spacious and very clean. Very good service by polite, pleasant staff. I came in to have some breakfast, saw the prices and just settled for a pot of tea instead. It was a good sized pot of tea, enough for 2 and a half cups @ £3. Moroccan Mint tea as well, pleasantly surprised as you can't get that everywhere. But I have to say... the pricings! £4.75 for a croissant, it would need to be an exceptional croissant for those pennies. And as for £9 (yes, £9) for mushrooms on toast, not on your nelly. Sorry, but too overpriced for lil ole moi.
Great coffee, we didn't eat today but I have on the past and the food is decent and good value. What I really want to highlight is the Jonathan Baldock exhibition, absolutely superb, completely immersive, beautiful,, skilled and challenging.
