This is a beautifully maintained village pub. The landlord is welcoming and serves a good range of beers and ciders. There is an interesting menu with "specials " nights. Weekly live entertainment adds to the attractions. Rooms are also available at this wonderful oasis.

My partner and I decided to drop in, we looked at the menu and as most pubs give it a try. Now, I have to say wonderful. Food, drinks and generally the entire night was lovely. Best pie I’ve had in many years. I say best as pie is what I love. Thanks and will return.

Gluten free experience! Only visited for afternoon meal. Can't give high enough praise, environment, service, food and toilets were of the highest standard. Almost everything on menu can be served gluten free, I had gluten free fish, chips and mushy peas with tartare sauce soooooo good. They even offer a gluten free steak and ale pie but if this is your choice give them a ring the day before you visit. Our dogs were even given a warm welcome.

We had a lovely cosy lunch here with our girls. The kids had a massive portion of chicken breast bites with chips each followed by a huge serving of ice-cream. We had amazing venison pies with mash, veg and the best gravy we've had in a while. Our dog managed to snag a load of treats and a lot of fuss too. Definitely want to come back for a Sunday roast. The phone line was down so we managed to book via their Facebook page.

Decent pub. Old fashioned, country style. Warm & cosy. Reasonable food, well kept beer, & better wine list than might be expected. Obliging & friendly service.

What a little gem. Forget everything you read, service was amazing, food was excellent and plentiful, hot and looked great on the plate. Will definitely return. We had the squid to start with and then an amazing steak and ale pit but I had the amazing bangers and mash with crumble to follow…. What a meal. Out in the country but not too far. Trust us, it’s worth a visit.

Very friendly and welcoming service. Food great, homemade bread, jams, sausages, burgers and a lovely Sunday roast. Very quiet location but perfect to get away to for some peace and quiet. Dog friendly too! Had a very relaxing couple of nights stay. Great base to visit the North Norfolk coast.
