Love by the bridge, the volcano doughnut icecreams are a must. I liked the raspberry sauce. Hot light fluffy doughnuts topped with thick tasty Mr whippy and sauce. What's not to love. Recommend. Seem to get bigger portions of ice cream in the evenings but maybe that's just me having had too many local Palmers ales by then lol. Great lil hut, nicer than the gelato place next door.

Ate here yesterday. Unlike the other reviewer we did not have any issues! I think it’s a bit unfair to accuse them of an illness without any proof. We really enjoyed our scampi, cod, battered sausage, chips and curry sauce. Plenty of places to sit and eat. The deserts looked good as well. We always take a bottle of ketchup in a cool bag as the sachets just don’t cut it!

Over the space of a couple of days we have tried several items on the menu including Falafel (tasty), Dorset Apple Cake (tasty), Ice Cream (tasty) and freshly cooked Doughnuts (tasty). All served by friendly helpful staff too.

Queue here gave us hope that we‘d picked a good one. Service was great. We were warned up front that it would be 20min wait. Children loved the scampi and adults enjoyed their fish & chips.

Every time we visit West Bay we come to this stand, mainly for the legendary Volcano Ice! Never disappointed! Good prices and always great quality food when we've eaten there.
