Cherries has a great vibe and serves excellent coffee. Their sandwiches, flatbreads and a different take on the Greek salad were noteworthy. Considering the feel of the place one would have expected more vegetarian options in the kids menu.

We called in for drinks and cake. They do fab milkshakes and Iced coffee with ice cream and plenty of cream on top :-) The cakes are yummy too, we had the chocolate brownies and Flapjacks. They have a varied menu. This cafe has a fun retro style, dog friendly with easy access to the carpark and views of the harbour. Will return.

Situated in the middle of the main car park, access is good and dogs are accepted. A fun place to be for lunch, with tasty food and a welcoming smile. Nice and clean.

Cherries is a light, bright and welcoming place to eat. We popped in for a coffee and stayed for lunch. I totally recommend trying their specials. Can't wait to come back.

Went for Sunday lunch about a month ago. Started with the best smoked salmon (with dill and lemon) pate. Really good portion. Excellent. Then had a very generous roast beef with all the trimmings, roasted veggies, and an excellent cauli cheese. For me maybe just a bit more gravy but then I’m a gravy monster! The service was excellent as were the views overlooking the harbour. Couldn’t have dessert. Absolutely no room for it. Gutted! Will have to go back then !! :)

Plenty of tables available, mind this is early March, a lovely cheery welcome as you come in. Plenty of variety to choose from for lunch, went for the cheese and ham toastie and a soup of the day, delicious and hot. 4 stars for atmosphere only because it is a cold March day,I bet the place is really buzzing in summer. Reasonably priced and quick service. 👍

Just called in as a half way stop on a bike ride. Excellent place to call in for lunch, good range of food quick services and my sandwich was delicious

A happy cafe with good food, great ice cream and great service. They would even fill your water bottle (it even says so, invitingly, on the wall!). They love dogs, which everyone in West Bay seems to have, and treat them with water and dog treats.

Warm welcome, very accommodating as we arrived about 20 mins before lunch menu was due to commence. First class cuisine, amazing home made cheese burger. Fish platter looked very good.

Went for breakfast - fabulous. The best we've had in years! (And that includes pre-Covid!) Full English and home made pancakes both excellent. Will be back next time we're in the area 😁

This is simply the most wonderful watering hole beside the sea! Whilst the ice creams are good, the coffee is the best for miles and the food is worthy of a Michelin Star ! Entirely misnamed, do not miss it out on your next visit to Bridport, my favourite place for breakfast or lunch, and you get service with a smile and a laugh! I would call it “ Marianna’s” in honour of the head chef/owner! Valentine Villiers
