What a lovely place! πŸ˜€ Popped in for lunch & a catch-up, stayed for about 6 hours. Wasn't too busy, parking was limited but available & handy at time of visiting. Great decor, friendly staff. Shout out to Maisie & Lily (hope I've spelt your names right) at the bar & the restaurant. Great, friendly & polite service πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘ŒπŸ½πŸ˜Ž My lunch was perfect & hit the spot. Nice selection of drinks, good prices, no louts or loud people. Lovely afternoon. Really enjoyed & definitely popping back in next time I'm in the area. Really good menu!! πŸ™πŸΌπŸ’―πŸ˜€πŸ‘ŒπŸ½

Had a really good meal here during our holiday. Large party of nine people, service and food were really good. Everyone enjoyed their food and waitress did everything to ensure we we all well looked after. Will be back again when we’re in the area on holiday!

This is local to a family member so we have had celebrations and commiserations under the roof of the Richmond Arms. - staff are lovely, great selection of wine, beers on tap and spirits and a lovely roast. Perfect winter cosy

This is a lovely countryside pub that is happy to accommodate everyone, from locals / walkers / cyclists and the whole family. I have not stayed in the accommodation but I have been there for a meal which was fantastic, the quality and the portion size was amazing for the price. I been there a few times just for a couple of pints and to sit outside and watch the world go by. They have various food days where they have pizza on which I have yet to try but always looks busy when I go past. Parking at the pub is small but there is parking on the road as you pass the pub.

We've had two lunches at the Richmond in the last week. Each one was faultless. The service is friendly and professional, the menu is well designed and provides a range of choices for all tastes plus it is not dauntingly large. The food was perfectly cooked, interesting and carefully thought out. The wine list is small but, again, provides enough choice. We had a chef in our party yesterday and he loved the smoked pigeon breast, our grandchildren ate very well and we are so pleased to have such a gem close to home.

This was my favourite place to eat out of London and first time I have been back since the new owners but the food was very good, not as amazing as before but I really recommend it. I am so surprised the place was practically empty on a Friday lunch so I think the managers need to get promoting. It would be a real shame not to make this a success as the chef really deserves some folk to appreciate his food.

The quality of the food was excellent, and hats off to a fantastic crème brûlée. My niece went for fish and chips, which were freshly cooked and got her seal of approval. I picked the fish cakes and spinach which was also very tasty. We shared a portion of the humus. The server did an excellent job in what was quite a busy night with just him and the manager looking after the whole pub. Service was still good. If you're thinking of driving, be warned that the car park is small so you might need to park on Mill Pond Lane and there are not many areas where you can sensibly leave your car. Quite a few cars were parked up on the verge nearby that evening. I'd recommend making a reservation for a weekend visit. It was pretty full by the time we had finished dinner (on a Friday evening).

This place is great. The roast was amazing - fantastic beef and fresh Yorkshire puds. Copious amounts of veg too. Best Creme BrΓ»lΓ©e I have had outside of London and France ! Highly recommend

Definitely going to return here. The fish and chips were beautifully cooked and presented : crisp batter, moreish thick cut chips and minted peas full of flavour washed down with a glass of white rioja made for an excellent meal

Lunch time meal was lovely with a good selection of beers. The side bar was suitable for walkers and really nicely presented. A proper pie not a pastry top πŸ‘
