Excellent menu which is a bit on the pricey side but worth it due to the quality of food and service. If only certain parents had been as considerate to fellow diners when controlling their children it would have been the perfect evening! (And, Yes I have kids and would not have let them ruin everyone else's evening by ignoring their screaming tantrums!) However the staff were amazing and did everything they could to make us comfortable!

First time visit and want there as I had heard lots of good things. It was well deserved! They were so accommodating, even though we had a few extra with our party at last minute. The food was all delicious and well presented.

Great food. Waited on fantastically considering we didn't have a booking and showed up minutes before the kitchen was going to close.

First time in the Wenvoe Arms today and it was lovely. The landlady very nice and welcoming and took drinks orders straight away. For food I ordered the scampi and my partner ordered the gammon and both meals were perfect and cooked well. The size of the portions were generous and the prices were very fair for what you get. All in all we had a very good experience staff wise and food wise and will definitely be going back very soon.

Highly recommended village pub and restaurant. There's a dog friendly bar area. There's also a restaurant area which is a dog free area. We were a party of 4 adults and sat in the dog friendly bar area for our meal. Each of us had different meals that included starters, mains and desserts. The atmosphere was friendly and joyful. The staff were chatty and welcoming. The food was excellent, freshly cooked and tasty, with a good variety of choice on the menu that is fairly priced. There's ample parking available in the carpark. We could not fault our visit to this wonderful village pub.

Stopped here for a lunch break. Friendly and attentive staff. I had Faggots with mash and mushy peas in a rich gravy. Delicious. My wife had sausages and mash with peas and gravy. But beware as these were Glamorgan Sausages not mDe of meat but leeks/cheese in breadcrumb coating. Not what she expected so make sure you check if you want meat Sausages.

Our friends live in Wenvoe so we visit the restaurant quite often. The food is excellent and the service is also very good. We would definitely recommend šŸ‘Œ

What a lovely place, Hidden gem of a country pub, walked to here from the hotel up the road(premier inn)the food was amazing, pub was so comfortable with fire going and staff so friendly, reason I went here was poor service at the beef eater and food, ended up having a real good night and really good food that night, rather then been in hotel/bar, please just walk up the road and support our country pubs, 5 min walk away well worth it, you will not be disappointed, big thanks to the locals and staff, a little gem in Cardiff.

Oct 23 - First visit for Sunday lunch. Friendly welcome from landlady & young staff very pleasant. Meal was okay. Good portion of well cooked (not pink) beef and yorkshire pudding was lovely. Veg was over cooked, roasties very big round potatoes not particularly well roasted and gravy was bland like the Bisto variety, lukewarm and had congealed skin in it. Pecan pie was small for price but utterly delicious. Wouldnā€™t rush back for Sunday lunch but normal pub meals are usually very good. Oct22 - Lunch. Lovely warm welcome, great ambience, good quality delicious food well cooked that arrived piping hot. Staff had a ā€œnothings too much troubleā€ attitude. Simply wonderful.

Good warm welcome, good beers. Shame no food was being served on a Monday despite website saying that it does. Not too many options about. Call ahead I would suggest.
