We visited a restaurant on a Sunday afternoon for a Lunch and it was not too crowded however we still did the prior booking. Weekends may be too crowded so prior booking is the better option. So that you are not disappointed. The restaurant is next to Wembley Stadium 🏟️. So it's easily reachable. The ambience is decent and feels like a home. They serve both Veg and Non-Veg dishes. The cost is not too expensive. You may be paying around 10-15 Pounds per person. We ordered Biryani, Chilli Garlic Nan, Paneer Saga and Kofta Curry. Both the curries were really good and mouthwatering. Spices were just apt and perfect. Indeed Chilli Garlic Nan was also really soft and tasted good. However Biryani was not too great but not bad as well. It could have been better. The good thing about the restaurants is that they will ask your feedback and take necessary action immediately. Not many restaurants do that. We informed the chef about biryani and they acknowledged the feedback immediately and gave some discount on the bill as well. Along with Wembley they have many other branches as well. I would definitely visit this restaurant again in the future. I would recommend others to visit as well..

I went with high expectations. Slightly disappointed. The food was average at best. Allepey fish curry was overpowered with coconut milk and turmeric. Naan bread and fried shrimps was good. Pleasant waiter.

Loved the overall experience! Relaxed, but lovely style - service with style. Amazing support with suggestions for food allergy menu! Food ofcourse was nice. I am a bit biased though - I liked the food at Hawkyns in Amersham better than Masalchi...I mean that is like just by slight margin. Loved the entire meal experience.

Wow this place has an industrial look and feel but the way the concrete, wood, tiles and copper all combine to soften it and it’s a really remarkable vibe. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and recommended some stunning dishes. They were friendly and attentive at all times. The food was packed with a punch of flavour and every mouthful was just delicious! Pricing was very reasonable too. Thoroughly enjoyed and would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area. You won’t leave disappointed. Booking advisable as it got busy very quickly.

It is a really nice authentic Indian restaurant. Well curated menu but limited vegetarian and vegan options. Affordable prices. Unique dessert menu.

Wow, I'm really glad we popped in here. From the outside, it said "office block" to look at, and it was only when my wife noticed the owners name on the wall near the entrance that we realised it was a restaurant. Service was fab, food was very nice and, as expected, prices on the high side.

We went during an event day so there was a time limit and the staff wanted us to hurry up and leave quickly even though there were empty tables. They kept asking how long we would be there. The food was tasty but not big portions.

First, don’t know why this place has 3.9stars. Ordered Lahori Champein, Maa Di Daal and Keema Naan(my fav combo) with Punjabi Lacha Pyaaz. You look at the food and realize the cutlery on the table is useless. You dig in with your hands. Champ were flavorful, tender and the charcoaled bone added to the taste. I left no meat on the bone. Next came Maa di Daal and Keema Parantha. When the dal hits your palette and you get a taste of Desi Ghee instead of butter, you know you are in the right place. Maa ki daal was how it should be, well cooked, flavor of ghee and just the right cream on top. Keema naan was wonderful, unlike other restaurants which serve frozen seekh kabab stuffed into naan, Keema Naan at masalchi can be had alone. The service is good, the staff friendly and checking if things are going good. Offers suggestions to go with. Overall, in a city where many chefs claim to have mastered(apparently) Indian cuisine, Atul Kochhar offers a taste of the Indian street food in great atmosphere. No fancy serving dishes, no gimmicks, just great food, cooked with much love. Thank you and see you on Wednesday for lunch to try other dishes like Jhinga Tawa Masala, Miyaji Seekh wale.

Good food, a bit more towards the Western taste palate, but still very tasty and enjoyable. Lots of seating space inside, and I really like that the tables aren't cramped together. Serving staff is friendly and despite being literally next to the Stadium, the inner atmosphere is quiet and relaxing.

A casual dine out with friends. First of all the location needs a special mention. Just next to majestic Wembley Arena. Then the decor and furniture add up to serene ambience. The staff were courteous all through the course. The starters we ordered were Chicken tikka and Aaloo chat. It was a bright start. Curries we ordered were Palak Paneer, Mix veg and Dal makhani. Pardon me for not putting the names as per the menu. And the desert were good too in form of gajar halwa and kulfi falloda. Coming to 2 concerns I wish to raise with the administration as well as Chef Kochar himself. 1. You have just 1 paneer curry option - that too a palak paneer. How on earth have you removed tikka masala or butter masala as options. Completely failed to convince my teen son to eat a SPINACH COTTAGE CHEESE prep. 2. The portions in Dal Makhani. The amount being served seems to be the old saying of a politician lamenting - He giving 100 Rs which becomes 1 Re while reaching to population. I had same deja vu feeling when Dal Makhani was served - the quantity got lost from kitchen to table. And the staff were quick enough to bring the next order dal within a blink. So in conclusion, I could have given 5 stars and your restaurant deserves it for sure. But that was not to be today. Somebody coming to AK restaurant comes with open wallets but if the hospitality doesn’t matches that openness - the customer end up penning his frustration in such a way. I hope things may change for better. Thanks for serving us 🙏🏼

Lovely Indian fine dining in the heart of Wembley. Lovely staff. I've taken a star off as they are unable to cater for nut Allergy sufferers and it would be great of there was a vegan option for the masala chai.

I have no connection with the restaurant concerned, but looking at some of the negative reviews I can clearly state none of them are true. Yes mistakes do happen down the human error but they’ve always rectified it. I’ve been dinning here for lunch and on a regular basis and all I want to say is the host Umesh and his hospitality is second to none. He really does go out of his way to make sure you have the perfect dinning experience, employees like Umesh are an asset to the wider restaurant in concern and it’s wider family. Some of the negative reviews claim this restaurant is expensive, what you need to take into consideration is the location where this premise is located, the business rates and all the other associated overhead expenses. The prices are reasonable and justifiable and if you claim it’s expensive then I suggest you open up the same restaurant in or around Wembley Park and then when people complain about prices you’d understand then again try the local greasy chicken shops! The food here is excellent, so is the decor. You pay for what you get and to be honest with you the dinning experience here is awesome! Thank you to the chefs too, without your knowledge and expertise the food would not come out to perfection. It’s always the owner or the hosts that get the credit where it’s due, but today I’m going to thank you guys too. Until next time guys and thank you once again for yet another memorable experience. Kind regards, Ambassador Patel

Airy and spacious. The chairs are wood and metal so not the most comfortable. The service is excellent and the food was delicious and very flavourful. They have half platters so you can sample different dishes and share. A wonderful place to meet up with family and friends while enjoying some good food and drinks. They have non-alcoholic cocktails as well. Check it out!
