The food đđ» oh myâŠ. In heaven the flavours pack a wonderful mix of spices that dance on the tongue. Everything was just delicious.
Itâs a hit with locals too I can certainly see why.

So I went to this place called Sarvana Restaurant in Wembley and I had an amazing experience. Our waiter Niyati who took our order was really cool. I asked her about some of the best dishes in paneer she gave the recommendations (Paneer makhni)and was accurate with my taste.
Truly a gem for sarvana restaurant (waiter niyati)

Every time I've been to London I've always eaten in this place and I loved it, especially their indo Chinese food such as their veg noodles but when I went here recently I had their veg noodles and veg Manchurian and the noodles were amazing but the Manchurian was way too tangy other than that 9/10

Lovely restaurant and most of the food was yummy. The south Indian thali was quite spicy but that's a matter of preference. Very busy service but food came quickly and staff were attentive. Only critism was the atmosphere inside was quite loud - a mixture of loud conversations around the tables, noise coming from the kitchen itself and the loud hand dryer near the sinks in the restaurant. Diminished the enjoyment of what was a pleasant family meal.

Amazing food and good price. Bit crowded during weekends but you cannot make a reservation. Staff is very friendly.

They are very few authentic South Indian cuisine places in London.
Saravana bhawan is one of them. An Indian Brand taking the real india internationally.
Podi masala dosa a must have and finish your meal with Indian masala tea đ.

The meal was super delicious and one one of the finest South Indian meal I have had so far living in the UK from last 12 years. Suganthan who served us was very courteous and polite. Loved the food and experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone coming Wembley.

We came just 30 mins prior to closing time, yet we were served and greeted well. Our food was piping hot and delicious!

I have almost visited this place every week for the past one year. This is the best South Indian food you will get in london/outside India. I would recommend the unlimited South Indian thali which cost approx ÂŁ9. It is worth every penny. Then, finish it with a cup of South Indian filter coffee which cost around ÂŁ2.5.

Busy restaurant on a Saturday lunchtime, good veg choices on menu. I had the tailor made dosa with choice of 3 fillings, was delicious and great value. Prompt service. Just around the corner from Wembley Central. Great for vegetarians.

A very nice place for Indian food specially south Indian food. The seating arrangement, look and feel all gives you vibes of Indian restaurant. You will not at all feel like you are in UK inside this restaurant. Food just tasted awesome. Staff is all Indian. You can also get some really great sweets like maisoor Pak and others. A must visit if missing Indian tasting Indian food.

Tried Dosa Idli and it has been always good and trustworthy đ

If you are a north indian, do not dare to try any dish other than south indian...no point wasting your money as I think the chefs may not have ever even tasted north indian
I ate Dosha at Saravanna Bhavan, Wembley. just after that, I did not feel good. Material used to prepare Dosha was not at all good. Visited the branch based on my past experience with other branches. Giving 1 rating for the staff, service was good at this center.

Three of us did the pasta masterclass. What an experience! None of us had ever tried making pasta before, so we had a lot to learn but the guys were great teachers. The fact that you all immediately get stuck in to practicing the techniques really helped too. We made some delicious dishes that I feel really confident in trying at home. And the teachers were funny and entertaining as well. It was a wonderful way to spend a sunday - I can't recommend it enough!

Finding the great Indian taste in London is not that difficult as outlets such as this are all over. The taste of the food is absolutely same and the staff are very kind and polite. The Masala Dosa and Lassi are delicious. And the beer to suit the environment have done really well.

Located close to the Wembley Central Station, not far from the famous olâ stadium itself is this branch of one of the finest South Indian chains.
This place is spacious enough with a nice ambience and with very helpful and quick on their feet staff so it literally feels like youâre in and out in no time at all. They survival of the fittest and youâve to adapt to your surroundings so theyâve added beer to the drinks as well.
The food was good and tasty and especially warm since it was served so quick. It didnât seem different at all from the outlets back in India.
Must haves are the Masala Dosa and Rawa Dosa while staples like Rice Idly and Uthhapam are also great. The Lassi is nice to go with all this.

Just off the Wembley Central Station one mile away from the famous Wembley Stadium this modern and bright Saravanna outlet serves great Indian fare including the pictured Paneer Kadai with Basmati Rice

Located just 2 min walks away from Wembley Central Station ,One of the best South Indian restaurant in town. We had plain Dosa with sambar and Idli, Dont expect the sambar to be authentic ! Wide variety of Indian food is available is . Staff is good and helpful , But during busy hours its crazy so you have to wait for them to respond . Ambience is not so great , But you will definitely get a feel of Local Desi Food Joint! Slightly over priced for the quantity they serve .Weekends is very busy here so be mindful when ever you want to plan a visit.#Aks #collectingcities #collectingmoments

To start with, we visited saravana bhavan Wembley branch on 29th March 2018 around 3.30pm. We have been here 100 other times before and have trusted the food here and have sometimes adjusted the taste as well. But never before have had food poisoning eating here. We visited with our in laws and my son 2 year old. My mother in law and my son ate sambar vadai and have been sick since , my son has recovered after 3 days of dysentery but my mother in law is still struggling. Also Uthappam served to my son has chutney gone bad, when complained the staff were casual and didn't bother to even get back to us as a courtesy. We normally taste food before giving to my son, but this time as we had earlier tasted the chutney fed him without tasting it and later found out that this was a different batch of chutney kept closer to the gas and had gone wrong. Our bill had that uthappam which my son couldn't eat more than 2-3 servings due to bad chutney and absolutely no remorse from the staff though agreeing that the chutney was bad.

The place is always busy so you would think from the outside that the food is on point and you can never go wrong the rate of 3 for the food and 0.5for the service is slow at times and could be slot better and the fact when you place and order and your out of stock with items.

Staff - Very friendly. Can converse in English, Hindi and yes of course Tamil :)
Ambience and cleanliness - Very good.

Food - Not sure about other parts of London yet, but this one undoubtedly serves the best South Indian food in Wembley!

Have tried, Idli Vada, Masala dosa, onion rava dosa, cashew pulav, mushroom pulav and south Indian thali! All were great. I'm already a regular customer :)

Filter kaapi was good too!

And then when those hit Tamil songs hit your ears at London that's altogether a different experience.

This one is a must try if you are at Wembly!

One of my favourite places to go every time I crave Indian food. The food here is amazing, tastes just like home. The service is really nice, it's fast and people are polite. My personal favourite is the North Indian Thali. It's a really good place to go with a group of friends or family. For a student however I think it is slightly overpriced. Otherwise, Saravanaa Bhavna is amazing.
Also try Gulab Jamun.

Decent food to try. Don't expect too much from the restaurant. Go for South Indian food as that is their speciality. Other cuisines are ok ok only

Saravanaa never disappoints. This Tamil Nadu-based world chain will please your appetite and your wallet. Swiftest service and food that is consistently delicious. Authentic South Indian food in London.

All time favourites - Kara Dosa, mini Idli in Sambhar, Filter Kaapi

Keep gobbling xx

Always such a delight to visit Sarvana Bhawan. I have been a regular goer of Sarvana Bhawan in New Delhi for the last 6 years!
The food is absolutely delicious. We tried the Idli vada platter, papadams, ghee roast masala dosai and coconut ice cream and boy was I delighted!
The same, brilliant authentic South Indian taste with every thing cooked to perfection. The coconut ice cream was definitely the star of our meal!

I never thought I would be so happy to see Sarvana Bhavan and for a second I thought - is this the same one where I used to go in Delhi - one bite into the delicious idli in ghee and you know - OH HELL YEAH!!
I was confused what all to order as my Indian taste buds started taking over me - idli vada sambar, 14 mini idli in ghee, masala dosa, onion rava dosa, paneer masala dosa with the patented filter coffee - even the waiter was smiling!! What a bliss.
I ended up the dinner with rasmalai (which was okay). All in all a very good meal.

I usually crave for Indian food here but this time I went in just for a good filter coffee . I think entire Wembley makes up for the ambience of the place . The service is really good and quick . I love d the traditional South Indian coffee đđ

Just an amazing place for South Indian food here in London. It's very low on pocket as well. Idli Sambar is must have! and no need to mention about the desserts.

I was there with my friends on a Saturday morning for the breakfast. Was a treat to enjoy the south Indian delicacy after a long time . Masala Dose, onion uthapam, pongal, idli and masala vade were some of the ones we tried. The Taste and urge to experience the south Indian food pushed us to come back for lunch.
Not sure of the service which people have always complained of, for total foodies like us it really didn't distract.
South Indian and North Indian meals along with masale majjige (butter milk) was a sumptuous meal. Ended the lunch with a beeda from the store round the corner .

Finally found a good Indian restaurant in Wembley. Food is really good. We had ordered dosa , chola bhatura , Puri bhaji , all were superb. Next day we ordered north Indian thali and its really really good. But service is really slow.

Rude, disrespectful and unprofessional.
We were rudely refused to feed our 1 year old with home food as they said it was 'strictly' against rules.
This was despite ordering main courses for both parents and a 5 year old child.
This was my last visit as we left on the spot.
The management wasn't bothered to look into this. My Nani wanted to treat her children and grandchildren into a nice south Indian family dinner, being 40 of us she took us to Saravanaa Bhavan, it was a busy Sunday evening, Coming late after work and hungry with high hopes after hearing good/OKayish reviews for the place altogether. Went to the counter to ask for the table booked and the receptionist or whatever she was didnt know what i was saying, waiting for nearly 5-10 mins I decided to look myself and luckily found my table seated in three big columns (the kids/teens, adults and the young adults). I was seated with my little cousins the food was already served but one of my vcousin told me that they have been waiting 30-45mins for the starters to come. Okay we had our food and the table started to fill up with empty dirty dishes, then the first round of main comes in, being the oldest seated at the teen table I kindly asked the waiter to remove the dishes before adding on a big plate with dosa and shambhar. I repeated 5 times until he understood my basic english and rudely answered back. With no manners and carrying his disgusting attitude he put the dosa on the table, Being a big family we have kids who are immature and I taking care of them stood watching my little cousins unaware of what's behind me. Normally people would kindly ask to let them go, but this waiter stood behind me carrying his ego thinking that i would have eyes on the back of my head or the sixth sense to notice him behind me. When I turned around he nearly pushed me trying to get his way through. let alone the other minor things the major disappointment from this place was when i saw a large number of the staff telling my cousins to get up from the place so they could clean the place. they started to do so after one of the employee told then to wait for my family to get up otherwise they were aggressively cleaning. You might be thinking okay it might be a busy Sunday, I agree but have you ever experience that situation before you even finish the course or even paid the bill. Getting angry at the service we decided to leave the place. And being a normal human i decided to complain to the manager and what pissed me the most was that he didnt even apologise or seemed bothered about what i was saying to him. If you like the food i would suggest to try or to even do it as a take away and have in at home where you could be pleased about the food, but if you want to eat in the restaurant itself then i would suggest no to even have hopes because no matter how good the food is the Service will the taste. A DISGUSTING WITH NO MANNERS OR RESPECT SERVICE.

For South Indian food, everyone who travelling to london or living in london must have to visit.
Advisable to try only South Indian food.

Enjoy.., South Indian food far away from South india.

The place to go to if you are vegetarian and love South Indian food. Good food and good service. Could improve ambiance. One of the finest tasting South Indian food i have had in the UK.

Okay my cousin was here from Finland and of course had a dosa craving.
Went to the Wembley so he could also buy some Indian ingredients and go to a temple close by.
First of all, excellent sambar. 5 stars. Lots of pepper, really good. Better than Southall.
Had my usual rava masala dosa. He ordered chilli paneer. Super flavour!
Also had the podi dosa, which was good.
Dessert options were limited. :( so settled for the gulab jamun. And of course filter coffee. Phew, I feel stuffed again just writing about it.
Got back kottu roti and chilli paneer for my husband :)
Super value for money too but worth the trek from Waterloo.

One of the best vegetarian South Indian restaurants I've been to! Prices are so reasonable as well!! And portion sizes are huge! Restaurant ambiance is quite basic but the food is authentic and absolutely fantastic! This place is always busy!

Went here tonight to relish some south indian dishes. Found lots of people there even on a weekday so one can imagine how busy they can be on weekends .

On the entrance we can see that there was a buffet system too so we thought first we'll find out whats the buffet menu first before ordering. We saw so many waiters roaming all over the restaurant but no one was there to welcome you on the entrance to provide us with a table. Finally we had to stop one of them to ask for a table of two. Well that lady showed us the table and went off. Very noisy place with lot of chaos among the staff could be seen! Again no one bothers to give u the menu card , there is only a dessert menu placed on the table. After asking for it, one menu card arrived but to a disappointment with missing pages! On asking for a beer which was there on menu card they said they dont serve it as they dont have the license. On asking whats the menu for buffet one of the waiter replied "we dont serve buffet after 10 p.m.". I repeated my question again for the buffet menu thinking he misunderstood what i asked (and it was only 8.30 p.m. by the way) ; he gave us a puzzled look and then started looking here and there.
Management needs to train the staff here as it give back a lot of negative impression!!
We ordered one paper masala dosa, one idli vada plate and one onion chilli utttpam. Sambhar was served cold and the portion of chutneys served is too less and also not very inspiring though the idli, vada and dosa were all good. Dosa in particular is very authentic . Uttpam had real hot chillies in it.
They were so quick in service that the moment we asked for bill, it was there next second. In a hurry to make you leave the restaurant!!!!!!!!!
For cost i would say - pocket friendly. all this cost us £12.
All over above giving it 3.5 because of the food and cleanliness! Hopeless service!!!!!!!!!

Recently went with family on weekend dinner and was not at all satisfied with the service and quality of the food. Had gone couple of times earlier, and believe me the quality/service is deteriorating each visit. Last visit we were 4 people. Ordered 1 Gujarati and 3 south Indian Thalis. Gujarati thali came within 10 mins but there were no spoons to eat it, so kept on waiting. South Indian thalis took almost 30 mins. There was lot of confusion among waiters. We kept on asking when are we going to get some food. They kept on saying let us check. But no one had courtesy to let us know anything.

When we go to a restaurant, we expect cutlery to be there at minimum. How are we supposed to eat if there are no spoons or forks. Finally after waiting and frustrated my wife had to go to the kitchen counter and get spoons for all of us. Pathetic !!.

All the vegetables were with extra salt and and there was no taste. Ended up eating rice and curd only with papad. My parents, who are 60 plus had tough time even trying some vegetable.

My take will never go back.
Prayash Giria
The food is authentic and well done BUT the service is hopelessly sub-par! The chain should thank its stars for its massive popularity, because the incompetent waiters seem bent on running it to the ground. All they seem to do is dart from one corner to the other to chat with colleagues, while an endless line of diners wait for a table, while those already at the tables try desperately to flag down a waiter to ask for a menu, their order or even the bill. Take my advice and just grab any free menu you see and when done, just get up and go pay at the cash counter - you'll be doing those waiting outside a huge service.

As far as the food goes - anything and everything works. If you're new to the food, try out a thali (but on an empty stomach - they're humongous). A special note here - the Chinese section is Indianized Chinese and is nowhere close to what you'd expect at any other Oriental place. Indians like me have a taste for it, so if you're craving for some Delhi style chilli potatos, look no further.

I was under the hope that their service will get better along with the food quality; alas!
I would prefer Saravana Bhavan in Rayners Lane on any given day and learned recently that SB in London are franchised and they belong to different owners just like the KFC and McD's which is a shame and it reflects in their service and quality in different place around here!
Rohit Korgaonkar
Superb food. Excellent service. Lively ambience. Big fan of the Ghee Roast and Rava Onion Dosa.

You go here when you miss home and want authentic south Indian food.
The chain is also in India , so the same quality food is served here as well.
I usually eat loads and take away for next day as well because the price is so darn cheap compared to other places in London. Also, because the location is far off from where I live I cant frequently visit it.

All in all, cheap, awesome, tasty, authentic food and then ending on the filter kaapi - BLISS.
