Really enjoyed the food, restaurant looks a bit quiet but the food will speak for itself. Butter chicken and meat curry were amazing, really enjoyed the food. Definitely would go back again!
You just can’t miss out this place in london. One of the most amazing restaurants offering the best North Indian food in London. I am from Mumbai and a typical North Indian lover was just helpless to find good food. Here they have the proper masala tadka food for Indians. Offering food at very reasonable prices and the ambience is lovely. Staff is really cooperative and helpful! You can try out North Indian and South Indian food as well. I am sure you won’t be disappointed! The service is really good and the food is served red hot and according to your taste! The taste matches the quality of kailash parbat in India..
#proudtobeanindian❤️
One of the most famous place to go and eat at and the food here is to die for its never been a let down to eat here. The staff here is helpful and friendly. The Indian snacks are amazing here
Had Shezwan fried rice and cucumber raitha. Both were good. Ambience OK OK.
Service: Good.
Nice place to try out if you are missing Indian food.
Most of the Indians from India will know this chain of restaurants. Having visited them several times in India, I decided to try the Wembley outlet to compare. We had the famous chole bhatures and sev puri for starters. They were both delicious. Definitely one of the beat chole bhatures in London !
Most of the Indians know about the chain and so for someone visiting or staying in London, Kailash Parbat proves out to be a decent place to have Indian cuisine.
Food- I took the buffet option which was for just £5.99 (all inclusive). The buffet had bhajia (pakoras), vegetable makhanwala, channa masala, dal makhani, peas rice, curd, breads, papad and salad. The chana masala was good and rest of the food was okay. I didn't like the papad as it had some kind of smell.
Ambience- The restaurant is quiet small and has very less seating space available, although it was very silent when I visited it on a weekday for dinner.
Connectivity- Its easily accessible as its a minute walking from Wembley Central Tube Station.
Service- The staff was really nice and polite. They were attentive and kept asking if everything was going fine.
I will only cut 1.5 point because of two reasons. First, there was no dessert option available in the buffet which was very disappointing. Secondly, they only accept card payments for bills of minimum £10 or above.
Mumbai is all here and the best part you don't need any aircraft to land you here if you are in London!!!!! All that you have to do is come to this restaurant after fasting a day before as your stomach will to need that place to fit all the delicious food they serve here in beautifully garnished and plated.
To start with -
AMBIENCE - Simple still classy. relaxed , friendly and family oriented ambience!! A very impressive wall depicting a picture of colourful India. A very neat and tidy seating arrangement and all clean.
FOOD - Authentic Indian food ! To start with the choice of drinks - proper indian drinks options other than mango lassi(usually the only indian drink found in maximim restaurents) like - "chaas" and "jal jeera". Go for these - i loved them!
Ragda pattice, bhelpuri, pani puri, chhole bhature, misal pav all were simply awsome. Specially the way they are plated in a creative way. Do not forget to order "faluda" in dessert menu.......i had one of my best faluda i ever had!! Visit this place again and again specially to have its "Faluda"( a very famous and rich in flavours dessert of India topped up with rose syrup).
SERVICE - The staff is very friendly though they are less in number to serve during busy days. The service might be slow. I had to remind them again and again for a simple water. This is why i ranked 4.5 instead of complete 5. Need to pay bit attention on service!
COST - A bit more towards higher end but the taste covers it all. It cost approx £35-£40 for two.
In a NUTSHELL - an absolute delight if you are a PURE VEGETATRIAN and a chaat lover like me ;) .
The place has a nice, cozy environment. Its a little expensive i feel, but its authentic indian food in UK.. Perfect to satisfy that homesick cravings!!
It was 6 months after coming to London, when i came across Kailash Parbat one sunday afternoon walking in Wembley. I could not believe my eyes as this is one of my favourite restaurant back there in Mumbai (India). So i decided to enter with my Indian buddies. The same taste miles away from home gave me immense pleasure. It has now been plenty times that i have been there when my stomach craves for Indian food. The ambience is simple along with Indian music giving a treat to your ears whilst presented with awesome dishes.
Amazing taste, Amazing service, Feel at home condition and not to be missed, not only by Indians but by all Food Lovers.
This is a place where you could expect a kind of dining experience and still keep it light on pocket! Their food are great, lots of variety to choose from and you'll hardly be disappointed
Avoid them on weekend as they are pretty packed and I wouldn't be surprised if you may end up waiting over 30 mins and you're not allowed to book a table on weekends!
As a big fan of Kailash Parbat in Colaba, I was so pleased when the restaurant opened a branch in Wembley.
How does one start to recommend what's good at KP? If you like gol gappe, ordering a plate or two is a no brainier. I love getting the chaat platter as its a got a few options of starters and us good if you can't decide. The cutlets are really good too!
KP's chole bhature is to die for but if you are going in a group, do get the bhature platter as you can get a variety of breads (the paneer bhature is so good!). I love their paneer makhani as well!
If you leave without eating their falooda, you're missing out!
The only reason I haven't given them a 5/5 is because I was so disappointed by the Bombay Chinese. I've had KP's noodles and manchurian in Chennai and reckon that the London branch has a lot of work to do to get that portion of the menu up to scratch.
For a person who follows a Jain diet, and is accustomed to the excellent food available in India, it can be a tall order to find something suitable and tasty outside of Mumbai.
When I walked into Kailash Parbat, especially as I have been a frequent patron of their Colaba restaurant in Mumbai since childhood, I had high expectations and was not disappointed.
Although the Jain diet menu items are limited, I was not cut short by the choice. For starters, I chose to order the traditional chaat items; i.e. the mirchi chaat and the dahi puri. The food was excellent, full marks on presentation and all the ingredients tasted fresh. I would have preferred a slightly larger quantity for the price, but the food made up for it.
The main course was a paneer masala subzi with a roti, which was 5/5 too.
The staff was friendly, a bit over enthusiastic at times though - with amazing speed to pick up used plates and cutlery which is refreshing!
I only take half a point as even though they had a separate jain menu, the staff was not well versed with it, and ended up recommending non-jain dishes, and had to apologise 5 minutes after the order had been given. I am sure that with time, they will not make that mistake.
In a nut shell “ this is a place for Bombay / Delhi savouries “
The seating and tables are pretty decent. It’s a place mostly concentrated on enjoying the food so ambiance is very minimalist.
Tried their samosa which was oven heated when they handed, but the stuffing is so far the good one by London standard.
Soon will be trying out their other chats on their menu. They were serving for other table and it looked tempting.
Buffet appeared to be decent for me.
Pricing is very good for the quality they are serving.
It was quite OK experience.. Chats and Dosa served were really awesome. Soup and Main Course could have been better. Service and Hospitality too good. Everything we requested served really quickly. £7.99 for weekend buffet really unbelievable price. I'm going with 4 star cos of best Panipuri I ever had in recent times and for the service.
I was absolutely wowed by the quality of the food at this place, whilst the service was friendly and attentive. Dishes are all vegetarian and packed full of flavour. Their butter paneer is to die for. I will be coming with friends and family, what a little gem of a place, and extremely good value!
Forget the negative reviews... Ignoranuses :)
I have visited over ten times now and the food has always been between 8 to 10/10
Only on one occasion I was dissatisfied with an Utthappam yet they made me another one... Still it wasn't quite how I wanted it ... So they made me another one! ... Spoilt... I know :)
The buffet is good... Say 8/10
The dosas from the menu are great... Best Sambhar I've had in the whole of Wembley and all surrounding areas including Harrow where there are quite a south Indian restaurants serving decent disable yet no one does sambhar this good
Peace :)
Friendly staff, mediocre food. Buckled under pressure of serving 16 of us, but had the best of intentions.
Kitchen was not adequately staffed and it's cleanliness was questionable. For served was of mediocre quality and hence slightly overpriced than i would have liked to pay. Will not revisit.
Great experience for our family. Will sure recommend, some of us selected to go for buffet and others ordered chaats and Chinese food, everything was nice and delicious. Will visit again soon. Kids menu is good recent addition.
Throughly enjoyed the meal with family. Excellent friendly service. Co Owner Kas served us and food was amazing. Bit spicy for children but they enjoyed it. After meal was given a complimentry sweet dish and introduced to chef Alpesh. Relaxed enviornment and clean place. I don't understand in the reviews it stated that the place was dirty.
Authentic delicious Indian food at very reasonable prices. First look wasn't very impressive. It was 7:30PM Friday night and we were their only customers. Given we went all the way from E14 to Wembley to feed our taste buds, we hesitantingly ordered a plate of Chhole Bhatura to share. We both found so tasty we ordered another and then vada pao and then kulfi falooda and rasmalai. Kulfi falooda was awesome. For a split second I felt as if I am in India due to ambience, food and the locality. Highly recommended. I wish they had a branch in Central or East London.
I was their for Dinner with my Grandfather ...Believe me the service and hospitality i deserved from Staff and Owner of the place was par beyond excellence with a Bigger Space on Earling road things and aesthetics of restaurant have changed with YUMMYY Taste and Quick Service .
Food is amazing,refreshing.
Especially - Chaats,Kevda Biryani , Chass(Butter Milk) and variety of Punjabi dishes.
Great place for authentic North Indian foods great on service and very tasty dishes. Lovely food, standard is high ,.Would definitely recommend this place.Thank you all staff members for making it a memorable day for us.
First visit and thoroughly enjoyed the variety of food and service. Dishes dont just look appealing but also have the authentic Indian taste which is not every Indian restaurant offers. Even though its pure vegeterian, you are spoiled for choice! Must visit if in the area..!
Very nice vegetarian, pricey for the area
A Very tasty food and very nicely presented ... my dad loves there pani puri so much so that he take aways ever second week. A big shout to Mr. Hiren he has fantastic personality. Love to visit over and over again
Not half as bad as the previous reviews. Having eaten at the original kailash parbat at colaba, Mumbai its difficult to compare.
Yup, slow service but we weren't rushed. Went on a weekday at term break. Recommend the Tmasala utthappam, dahi puri and the masala chaas. And oh yes the kulfi falooda is just right without being too sweet.
Very tasty food and atmosphere. Have been here many times and when my mum comes down 86miles. This is one place we always have to go too.
Kailash Parbat has excellent food and amazing service. All you food lovers must check out KP...my favourite dishes are the awadhi kewda biryani, chole bhature, chaats, pao bhaji and more 😊. It's has a warm atmosphere and very friendly staff.
Great food and equally great service and hospitality. Enjoyed our visit thoroughly, friend and family kinda a place. Thanks guys for lovely time see you again soon....chaats and live dosas on buffet was a great idea...
