Just called in for a quick Shandy each in the afternoon. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The pub is very nice inside and has loads of outdoor seating. We had intended to return for a meal in the evening but unfortunately did not get back in time. It will be top priority next time we are in the area.
This pub is an amazing find. Their attention to detail is wonderful. The customer service is warm and just super efficient. The food was outstanding. Fresh and beautifully seasoned dishes. And OMG the desserts are just heavenly. A beautiful gem worthy of Michelin stars. The atmosphere is warm and lovely. You guys just got everything perfect.
Lovely village pub with a good choice of beer. Plenty of seating both inside and out. Didn't have food ourselves but saw what looked like good decent pub food going to other people. Dog friendly, with water available for pooches. Nice place , cheers pub people
Amazing day today celebrating my parents 60th wedding anniversary. The Rose and Crown could not have done any more with great food, service and a smile. Thank you, so very much Mrs and Mrs Webster special thanks to Sophie who looked after us all xx also recommend Chloe’s cakes who made our cake.

Popped in here for lunch on a weekday and it was great. The staff were really friendly and attentive, and it just feels like a really nice village pub. We had the mac and cheese and the crispy buttermilk chicken, and I'd recommend both.
Went on a sunny Saturday evening. Menu a bit limited but everything we had was delicious! I've been told the Sunday roast is amazing so planning on that next!
We enjoyed our visit. The service was a little slow but the food was good and the atmosphere and setting were enjoyable. The car park is a little cramped.
It was my first visit to this lovely pub. It was a bit crowded, but otherwise, everything was great. Great service to the bar, great service at the table, amazing food, mine was delicious.

Great service. Nice pub. Excellent vibe for a Saturday lunchtime. My pint didn't look great. THEY changed it even before I questioned it...that's an absolute first 👍It was the bottom of the barrel, no one's fault, but dealt with superbly...well done !

Great pub, great food, excellent friendly and efficient staff. First visit with friends who live in the area, but will be coming again. Shows this is a good well run pub by how busy it was on a cold Monday lunch time in January. Well done to staff and management!
