A well run friendly village pub with all facilities, reasonably priced excellent for social events. Nearby parking OK.
Excellent and helpful management team.
Had a private party in the lounge bar/function side. Staff were friendly and helpful. Allowed us to rearrange tables etc as we wanted and decorate with banners etc. Staff kept checking everything was OK through the evening and made us feel very welcome.
Would definitely hold another birthday or event there in future. Great team.
The Hedgehog is a great place for birthday parties or a friends get together. The rent is reasonable, service is good and the location is convenient with plenty of available parking, certainly recommended.

Lovely small pub in Welwyn Garden City not far from the cricket club the Great Little place and the staff make you feel welcome bit pricey for drinks but what do you expect and I think it's a really great place for live music I went to go see live music last weekend and it was really great had a really great time would definitely recommend going there again to meet new friends and to have a nice dance again NJ and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who hasn't it
Excellent evening watching the game... And the best pint of Guinness ive had for a long time, well worth a visit.. Good job guys :)
Amazing pub and staff. Proper pub with great beer. This is an example of what oubs should be. Throughout the pandemic they have done all within their power to keep customers safe. Highly recommend.

Been living in the area since 2004. The Hedgehog has changed hands a few times since. It is probably at its best at the moment. Latest owners have updated it. Reasonable priced beer, sports on TV if that's what you want and a good sized beer garden. The natives are not a bad bunch either
