My wife and I had a delicious meal at the Terranova. Great front of house team, great atmosphere and very good wine! Highly recommended - we loved it!!
Lovely restaurant with fantastic food amd very friendly people working there. The wine went down very well and they even brought out a cake for my mum's birthday. The views across the lake are lovely and serene. If you're using the restaurant, you can park for free in the pay and display parking bays by the restaurant - just remember to give your car registration number to the restaurant staff and they will pop it into their computer for you. Would highly recommend coming here.

What a wonderful restaurant, i emailed on the day as our plans had changed and they were so nice straight away. We went for Nans birthday and every meal was absolutely delicious.
We were 3 adults and 2 children, the children wear treated like valued customers and were asked their opinions and tastes as were the adults. The eldest said he felt like he was eating out on holiday as everyone was so nice and the food was so tasty!
We will definitely be returning and can't wait to visit in the summer and have the view of the lake.
From the gorgeous fresh bread and butter to start, the prawn main was exceptional and so was the affogato! We wished we had more room to fit more in at the end!!

We held a 70th birthday lunch at Terranova in May taking over the whole restaurant. We chose Terranova as we have dined there for over 20 years and always enjoyed our meals. On this special occasion Vince and his team did us proud with absolutely delicious food in a really great atmosphere and fantastic service. Brilliant day. Thank you.

A hidden gem located in a very beautiful location! We ordered pasta & pizza and it was absolutely amazing! Perfect temperature, well cooked & really tasty! Service was really great too, special thanks to the team. Especially to Vince Terranona (owner) & Simona - They both really took care of us! See you again soon.

My husband and I went here for an evening meal. We arrived at 20.55, and due to the new COVID regulations we needed to leave by 22:00.
The staff were really nice and accommodated us. They wore face coverings throughout, and maintained good COVID-19 etiquette.
We ended up ordering a risotto as an additional main, as my hubs has a big appetite!
Overall, I would recommend this place to visit. However, as it was dark we couldn't really see the lake. We will be coming back during the day.

We went for a friend's birthday and it was just amazing..the food the service location and the atmosphere...the owner is really great his very pleasant and offers lemoncello chocolates after your food..just nice..the portions are of food are good...I recommend Terranova 100 percent...the owner also has a coffee shop next to the restaurant you get coffees ice-cream and amazing hot dogs..it's next to lake it's lovely...tiina Ylinen
The best restaurant in Welwyn Garden City, full stop. The food is fresh and delicious and all the staff go out of their way to provide professional yet really amicable, warm service each time. We love the atmosphere at the restaurant. We just came back jetlagged, from 2 weeks of wonderful food in San Francisco and were craving fresh authentic Italian food. We ordered a delivery from Terranova and it was as good as at the restaurant! Our favourite, by far and consistently outstanding! Carolina & Rob

This is a really nice Italian restaurant overlooking the lake. We went there with grandparents and children and had a very nice experience. The owners and staff are very helpful and friendly. We had various types of dishes between us and were nicely presented and very tasty.
