This is a fabulous pub serving good pub grub in lovely surroundings.
Above & beyond in terms of service, clearly under staffed but made every effort to take orders, serve food & drinks & be hospitable with a smile, never got flustered or frustrated - well done!
A massively busy evening with the Wor
Met up with friends for a lunch time drink and meal. Nice menu with some vegan options. Great service and a good selection of beer. It does have TVs throughout, so there may well be sports on, but it was background noise where we were sitting.
Lovely pub, proper old boozer with relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, great menu for proper pub grub. Reasonably priced with offers during the week. Good selection of drinks too, and very friendly, family atmosphere. Staff are superb and go out of their way to make your visit really enjoyable 💋

I had THE BEST chicken sandwich here. My god was it amazing. I also had about 5 rounds of drinks with a set of friendly locals. This pub was recommended to me by the desk lady at the Swan and she was right. It was incredible
Nice place but burger's were quite fat and they could be prepared better. Personally I prefer a medium rare burgers and those were unfortunately well done (waiter didn't ask how they should be cooked). For that reason only 4 stars.
Lovely old pub in Wells High Street. Food looked good and plentiful though I didn't eat. Friendly staff and a good selection of beers.

Called in while in Wells .. chose the Steak and Ale pie which was fabulous and even the green veg was hot .. friendly service .. would highly recommend.
What a great place for a meal and a drink. Great service from a young team of staff. You cannot go wrong
Good food,good ambience and good service..only comment chips for fish n chips can be of better quality..it's can be improved with a better quality ones..
