Great layout, friendly members and a well cared for course
My local club. It’s lovely. Very welcoming. A good range of people. Some are serious players and some are just looking for a good time so whatever type of player you are I think they’ve got you covered. The club pro Terry is very good and I’m keen to learn from him more.
The only thing that lets it
Walking around the Golf Club through the paths, fields and under the trees beside it, is always a beautiful time for me. Highly recommend the visit. Going out from Wells, it might take you around 90 minutes to get there and come back to the city.
Great club house and people, good course well worth visit. If wanting venue for function catering excellent.
We had a lovely family lunch on Sunday, the carvery was excellent as usual, the staff are all brilliant and always so helpful.
Went for roast on a Sunday it was fantastic, great service, great food we will be returning.
Great course and clubhouse open most of the time when others are closed by rain.
I can't thank Alan enough for all of his help with arranging my father-in-law's wake at the golf club. He made what could have been really stressful super simple. Food selection was great and they allowed us to take the extra home. I would happily recommend to family and friends.
Great course, very friendly and helpful in the pro shop, clubhouse is very nice and served us with a cracking all day breakfast. Looking forward to playing it in warmer weather -8 today us golfers are nuts😅
Only used the driving range, great deal 50 balls and a coffee (not sure if it was a limited time, deal) mixed balls some better than others, which I don't mind,
I played it years ago and just had to have a look at it whilst staying in tge area. What can I say? The welcome from both ub Pro and members was lovely and the course looks in superb condition.
Lovely Xmas staff meal here ,the service was excellent, however let down by the paper packets of salt and pepper on the very smart table instead of condiments.. otherwise great catering.
A beautifully maintained course with some fantastic views. Slightly weird hole layout which requires some backtracking but fun to play altogether. Would definitely recommend playing if in the Somerset area.
The staff here are nice and friendly always a great welcome . The course is always in great condition .
