The cream tea and hot chocolate were one of the best we had. The hot chocolate was really good, but if you like it super sweet, this might not be the one for you. The coffee was good but not the best.

A lovely little cafe, polite and friendly staff. Teacakes and cake was excellent, tea and coffee were very hot and of good quality. We will be coming back to Wells next summer, and this little cafe will be on our list to visit 😀.

We visited Kitty Banks Cafe in beautiful Wells on 7th September 2023. It was a hot day and I had lovely chilled water from a glass dispenser (no plastic - great!) We all had lovely drinks and the cheese and ham toastie was divine. Had some fun banter with the lovely staff who were cheerful and obliging considering they were running around in the heat. We would absolutely go again if we are ever back in this charming town!

Popped into Wells for a visit and decided to go here for a cuppa. We only had the tea cakes and tea but loved the feel of the place, plenty of seating options with comfy seating upstairs and if your lucky you can get by a window and watch the going on outside. The service was polite and accommodating, the food coming out looked good and the cakes looked great. We'll definitely be coming back to try the food for ourselves as most things looked home cooked and appealing.

Canal side setting, good parking and food served inside or out. Nice and friendly place to refresh from a walk or cycle ride.

All round good cafe, food was good, but not amazing for the price and the upstairs (where we sat) was a bit quiet and contained random furniture thrown together (I'd say a near miss edgy vibe). But overall service was good and had a good time.

Amazing really tasty home cooked food. We had a brilliantly spiced vegetable soup and Cheddar & Ham quiche which was divine. Great sunny spot on an bright Autumn afternoon. highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic. Gluten free options were really good and the cake is right up there in my top 3 ever! Lovely atmosphere. Beautiful location. Helpful staff. Will definitely be returning soon.
