The manager set up a table for us outside, overlooking the cathedral green. Delicious pasta and pizza. Profiteroles are pretty good, too!
Stopped by for an early evening supper. It was our first visit to this well positioned family run Italian restaurant right in the heart of Wells. Views across cathedral green. Good and service good.

Wow- What can I say from the time you walked in and walked out was utterly divine.
Went New Years Eve and exceeded my expectations massively. I was seriously impressed with the dedication and care everyone took. I know being vegan is difficult to be catered for and I am extremely impressed. The chef did a fantastic job and the staff was brilliant. Georgina- Well done- You are very good at your job.

Mega pepperoni pizza. Really fab. Had dinner with the family. Three young children and we had to hand the table back promptly but the team were super good despite the slight rush.

Absolutely wonderful! I went with my friend for a lunchtime meal and everything was really good.
The food was delicious (the Spaghetti Alla Puttanesca was the best I have ever had). The 'ambience' is lovely, and the service was superb.
I do recommend and I will be returning - lots of other dishes for me to try although I suspect I will getting the Spaghetti Alla Puttanesca again next time because it was so good!

Excellent food, amateur service, nice venue. Half the staff looked 16 and weren't particularly fluent, which I suppose it to be expected. Quite expensive, but amazing food quality so worthwhile. Reserve a table in advance to get the (very few) seats with the 'cathedral view'.
We went for lunch and oh my, it was delicious! We had three courses and the food was superb! You get good portions but I wasn't uncomfortably full and the flavours were amazing. I recommend the truffle ravioli. The staff are lovely too. The bathrooms could do with a refresh of the decor but were clean. Uplifting those probably would have moved it to a 5 star for me.
Had Spaghetti Bolognese and another dish both were very good. The spag bol they added extra garlic, chilli and basil to suit my partner's taste.

Is a great location, you can have a lovely walk after dinner.
The food is very good, and proper authentic Italian. It's not cheap so it's more wealthy retired crowd when I was in there on a Thursday evening. You need to book ahead or you wont get in. The setting is a lovely old building in Wells which is an amazing place to visit.
