Would highly recommend!! Food was so good (we had breakfast) and a beautiful calm, yet buzzy atmosphere. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. Will be back again.

Spent 2 hours on a raining day watching the world go by. The food was excellent, especially the garlic bread! The cakes are made on site and huge portions! The service was excellent and full of smiles. Highly recommended.

The best lunch I’ve had in a very long time. The Confit Duck Hash was superb. Thoroughly recommend. Finished with a fabulous oat milk cappuccino and orange polenta cake

What a shame. This place has gone down hill. Must have changed hands! The service was very lack lustre & the waitress was totally disinterested. The menu was small & uninspiring. We had booked a table beforehand having asked for a specific table which was not available to us when we arrived, so we had to eat upstairs. Out of the way & mostly forgotten. Won't be going back. A real shame as this used to be a great place.

Cosy cafe in a great location in Wells very close to the cathedral. Seating outside if the weather allows, inside or upstairs. Eat from a simple menu or just have a coffee. Great cakes and biscuits!

Very welcoming to cyclists, and very accommodating. Ideal for a nice bike ride to Wells. Definitely try the almond croissants they are lovely. Very smiley staff and a most enjoyable 20 minute stop. Will most certainly pop in again.

Lovely food in a great spot to watch the world go by, in a beautiful historic city... it's only let down by the young team of waiting staff who's hearts don't seem to be in it

this cafe is lovely! the staff where externally welcoming and friendly from the moment we walked in, they asked us how our day was and walked us to our upstairs table. the interior itself is stunning with a massive “feature” blackboard with the menus written on it. the whole cafe is bordered with beautiful fairy lights which really finish the place off. our upstairs table was by the beautiful bay windows overlooking the courtyard below. the coffee was superb and the food even better. i would recommend the bubble and squeak, with bacon, very highly. we can’t wait to be back!

Great cafe over looking the old market place! Amazingly friendly and helpful staff! Only had breakfast here on a Sunday morning but it seems very popular and the food was very nice! Good selection and lovely calming decor. Recommended

Lovely coffees, really enjoyed my mocha. The market place was closed off so it was a lovely place to sit outside. Table service and friendly waitress.
