A real hidden gem! Fantastic cafe that was dog friendly. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty, locally sourced and free range. Fantastic value and the homemade cakes were delicious.
What a find!
We visited yesterday with two dogs in tow and were given a table in a cosy, if basic, covered outside space adjacent to the front of the cafe...they advertise they are a dog friendly establishment and we could probably have eaten inside the small intimate cafe had we chosen to.
We ordered two of the seafood sharing platters for two at £16 each and a side order of bread ( including very tasty gluten free bread).
The seafood platters were totally delicious, beautifully presented and of extremely generous portions..as you can see!
Highly recommended indeed! ( Especially if you want a fresh and tasty change from the ubiquitous fried battered fish and chips served locally).
The staff were extremely helpful and attentive.
There is a spotlessly clean washroom... toilet & hand basin... for customers to use
Just a note to add that the cafe takes cash only.
The food and service were both excellent as was the price. I have never been disappointed at Cafe 24. We were too full to eat our scrumpious cake and Bob packed it beautifully as a takeaway.
Lovely seaside cafe. Good menu, excellent fresh food and friendly accommodating staff
Excellent food and service.best big breakfast and seafood platter
Returned following successful first visit last month. Little breakfast still quite large enough for me, and with egg, sausage, bacon, mushrooms, baked beans and two rounds of buttered toast for £6 represents good value for money, as all freshly made. Dog friendly and convenient to car park. Recommended.
A real gem of a find, would recommend the sea food trio. Service was excellent as was our meal. Would have no hesitation in recommending anyone to eat here. PS. Make sure you save room for a slice of one of their delicious cakes. Definitely one our family will return to eat again.
It was spectacular, the food is amazing and the community is very nice. The people who work there are amazing. I had a full English breakfast with my dad and it was fabulous. I definitely recommend the cafe. Well done
We had an excellent crab crayfish and prawn salad, followed by a a coffee and walnut an and a carrot cake. All well presented, the cakes were excellent and the coffee surprisingly good. Dog friendly but perhaps best for small ones!
Lucky little find. had a lovely lunch at this tiny cafe. Seafood trio which contained Crab, prawns and crayfish with a salad. excellent quality and good value. Would definitely recommend and will return later.
