A party of 8 of us had a very enjoyable evening meal. Tasty food, attentive friendly service. Great atmosphere. Would go back.
Came with my parents for a delicious lunch. Seriously- the food is excellent. Service wonderful. Highly recommend
Don’t hesitate if you’re planning a trip to Wellington. This restaurant is excellent in every way, our family enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Villa Verde. The manager and staff went out their way to make things right. The food was presented well, had great flavour and good-sized portions. My seafood risotto was excellent,
We left the restaurant feeling very satisfied and if we’re ever in Wellington again, we’ll be sure to book again.,
Villa Verde opened in February and so far I have visited 4 times. I am never disappointed. The welcome you get when you walk in the door is second to none. The food is absolutely amazing, everything I have eaten there so far has never been disappointing.
The last visit we had was for a work colleague to celebrate his birthday, I took along a cake and the staff were very accommodating and kept it in the back for us and when it was brought out it was accompanied by some of the kitchen staff singing happy birthday.
The staff are all welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere is a lovely one.
Fantastic family restaurant with excellent food and ambience. Staff are very attentive and polite.
Booked a table here for the first time and had excelllent service - catered to our gluten free/dairy free diet absolutely brilliantly. The manager went through the menu with us and pointed out all the meals and starters that could be adapted. The food was amazing and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!
An old pub brought back to life with a great layout inside and out. Good menu, good attentive service, good range of draught and bottled beers. The wine menu is good, although to me, a tad expensive saying that really enjoyed our meal, are we going back, absolutely!
A thoroughly enjoyable evening with my wife to celebrate our anniversary. Excellent food and reasonably priced. It was packed when we arrived, on a week day, at 8pm and the service was great. Highly recommend.
Open, angular, wood panelled establishment with a light, cosmopolitan, pleasant atmosphere.
Service punctual and accurate without being over-bearing.
Extensive and varied menu, it was difficult to decide but something for everyone, probably.
We had pizza (thin and well topped, proper pizza) and the perfectly cooked sea bass with a good portion size that arrived quickly.
Really, really good coffee.
Price comparable and well worth it.
We’ve been before and will be going again.
The only thing I would change is the music, it did feel like a CD of Eurovision failures at one point but I probably wouldn’t have noticed so much if I wasn’t sitting under a speaker.
The service, the food and the presentation were all exceptional.
I didn't think to take photos of the starters and main course, drat. Only the desserts.
