Really lovely staff. Cheerful and nothing too much trouble. Enjoyed our meal. Food was good and the pub was warm and not crowded. Worth a visit.
Average visit. Nothing great, nothing bad. A bit bare and cold feeling inside, but Ludlow Gold pint was acceptable, if a little pricey.
No food on evenings midweek at least, although do have reasonable rolls for a pound.

Great pub with a lovely atmosphere. The staff are friendly too. Good selection of drinks available. Food is simple, but homemade to a high standard - no prepackaged food here.
Went for Sunday lunch after Christmas. Food was piping hot and great quality, proper traditional food. I was pleasantly surprised, so much so, we now go most weeks.
