Visited for the first time tonight, absolutely fabulous meal! We had the set meal for 4 and everything on this was so tasty! There was no way the 4 of us could finish everything, the portions are a great size! The staff were super friendly and attentive, as we couldn't finish all of the food they packaged it up for us to bring home.
The best chinese we have had in a long time, well worth a visit and we will definitely be returning!
I had king prawns and scallops in a birds nest. My fiancée had lemon chicken and we both shared oriental platter for 2 and enjoyed 2 bottles of wine between us

We have eaten several times here in the last couple of months The Sunday menu is excellent value and the evening menu is the best Chinese food we have had in several years. The service is excellent and the staff are very pleasant . We would reccomend it to anybody.
Wow! Booked a table for 10 for my mums 80th birthday, best meal we have ever had, attentive staff. They decorated the table and provided balloons 🎈, gave mum a complimentary drink 🍹 and a 🎁, impeccable friendly service and the food was fabulous, everything hot, fresh and tasty 😋 perfect evening
A must visit must eat for anyone in Wellington! Either eat in or take away this place has quick, tasty food and lovely staff who are always welcoming and happy to help
Booked here for my partners 30th birthday, we have been here in small groups before but never a big party. We had 19 people and the food, the service and everyone's experience was amazing. They had put up balloons for us and gave us a table for the cake too. It was a perfect evening and everyone has said how much they enjoyed it. Even sorting out individual bills was no hassel. Thank you for a great birthday meal, there will be no hesitation of booking here again.

The yuk sun is gorgeous and the Peking spare ribs are just nom �...I had to bag mine up last night and had it the next day ..flipping lovely !
Had read that had changed hands this year so decided to dine in to see how it fared.. we were absolutely delighted with our meals, the starters were excellent (vegetable spring rolls and prawn toast) there was so much! We had sweet and sour chicken and chicken satay and it was delicious! So impressed with the service too, the staff were attentive and we had a thoroughly good evening. We highly recommend this place.
The food here is absolutely amazing. I ended up having the seabass, which came out whole and then the bones were removed at the table. So tasty. And the prices are excellent for the standard of food you're getting. My husband and I had a mixed sharer starter which was also lovely. I think the beef satay was my favourite. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
2023 review: This place has changed hands again! And now it's excellent again 😁 The chowmein is particularly good 🤌 and the staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive.
2021 review: We've been going to this restaurant for years and it has always been amazing, but I think it recently changed management or something and now the food is completely different. The yuk sung now tastes of butter and the other dishes weren't as good as they were either 😞

The Vineyard has been under new management since March 2023 so we thought we'd give it a try
We went for a family meal for eight people on 17 April. We were greeted and shown to a round table as I had requested. As we had a lot of catching up to do, we were quite slow at placing our order, but at no time did we feel hurried. We settled on 3 of the sharing platter starters with some salt and pepper chicken wings as well. All items were beautifully cooked and very tasty and nothing went back into the kitchen. We had a variety of main courses including; Sweet and sour chicken, tofu and pork, chicken chow main, chicken curry with a variety of rice dishes. The portions were very generous and again it was very tasty. The service was excellent with additional drinks ordered without us feeling hassled. All in all it was a great night with all of us complementing the food and the service and it came in at a good price of around £25 per head for two courses, coffees and drinks.
We will definitely be returning.

Nice clean seating area, lovely atmosphere, friendly helpful staff & the food was delicious on every course. Nothing was too much trouble & we felt so happy & relaxed. The atmosphere and food were good. We liked the Pork yuk sung and Singapore vermicelli. The staff service was most impressive. Will return from time to time.

We have never had a bad meal here. Service is always polite and friendly from all the staff. It was very busy which shows you how popular the place is. You definitely need to book if you want a table. Lots of people ordering take away also. The food was lovely and reasonably priced also. Not much more than an actual takeaway. Would definitely recommend.

Nice food and great service - staff were so accommodating. Everyone went out if their way to make the meal good - they even knocked up a tiny taster of a new dish my wife was thinking of trying so she could be sure she liked it before ordering.
