With a bit of a tidy up this could be a very nice pub.
1st visit to this very old pub, in a lovely village as we meet friends from further north and this is about halfway for us all. We choose to try here as dogs very welcome and saves having to leave him at home all day.

Very good all round lovely old fashion pub.
The food was very good and at a very fair price. The portions were about the right size too. Rather busy on a Saturday evening with several tables occupied as well as a good crowd in the bar.

Back again, no change, good old fashioned country pub, love it
Very well cooked food, which was delicious and well priced. Service was friendly, polite and quick. We will definitely be returning for another visit with our family.
Just had an excellent lunch at this homely friendly bar. Booked again for evening meal. Homemade food and excellent selection of drinks.
