However, my experience would have been improved if we had been offered drinks soon after arriving, rather than having to request them. Also, when our pasta arrived, we expected that parmesan and fresh black pepper would be off

Reasonably priced, well presented delicious food. Clean environment and pleasant friendly staff. Well worth visiting and the lunchtime menu is just under £10 per head, which includes a drink.
