Absolutely amazing, been looking to back for ages and it was even better than ever, the food was insanely good, if you are looking for cheap nasty pub grub then you will be disappointed but if you are looking for quality well cooked food then get yourself over there xoxo
Very tastefully decorated with pleasant staff and happy hour beer prices not cheap but nice country/village pub
Lovely pub and have made a real effort to accommodate out door eating and they have semi succeeded we had a great afternoon there for my Mrs birthday great menu and choices we shared the cheese and bread starter and the meat starter between us that was OK scotch egg would of been better hot tbf had

Called into this pub on the way back from a walk round Sywell Country Park for a beer with my wife and son and his partner. His beer and we had their cheers board very good.
The food was stunning! Had the trio of meats roast and every part of it was outstanding 5 ⭐ The only reason they lose a star is because the service was slow unfortunately. four of us stopped by for Sunday lunch, staff were happy to offer us a table even though we hadn't booked. A group of us were staying nearby at Sywell for the weekend so came in on Friday and Saturday night. Both nights were spot on. Great food, really friendly and attentive staff, nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend it.
Great food and newly updated beer garden. Every table has a gas powered heater and its such a treat, other pubs could learn from this. Having said that, the service was a little slow as they were busy but the heater, great vibe and music meant we weren't too bothered.
We all had a lovely meal. Wonderful polite, helpful attentive & friendly waitresses & waiter. Very Clean, plenty of space inside & out. Just one thing, no prices on the menu, so the Bill was a bit of a shock.
Highly recommend though.

Just had a delightful Sunday lunch at the Griffin ......3 people, combination of starters, 3 different main courses send 3 different desserts......all outstanding. Can't fault the portions or value for money. Very friendly and professional team.
Super lunchtime food. Great selection of ales and reasonably priced house wine. Incredible steaks.. Melt in the mouth with incredible textured and flavour. Local pheasant was marvellous and our two labradors made most welcome. So delightful we've booked in for Sunday lunch.
Went for an early evening meal. Food and service were excellent.Quality of the food was very good and the quantity was spot on. A starter & main were ample for us. Will definitely visit again & would recommend The Griffin's Head
Had a meal from the Christmas menu, from start to finish we were treated fantastic, the staff were very polite and there appearance was very smart.
The presentation of the food was amazing and the amount was very filling.

Just brilliant. Friendly, helpful staff. Great menu, food was freshly cooked and delicious. Slightly more expensive than some other pubs, but worth every penny. Would absolutely recommend.
