Stopped for a Saturday night, made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are good clean and comfy, good pub food, breakfast spot on and a great pint of Black Sheep. Definitely stay again.
We arrived on Sunday and were warmly welcomed. Even though it was busy in both the bar area and in the dining room, nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. This is a lovely pub which is not too far off the A19, they serve excellent food here with well kept beers and ales, they also have rooms that will fill up rapidly in summer months. It is not the cheapest pub you will ever go into but the prices reflect the amount of care taken to get the atmospher
