Bank Holiday Monday visit, unfortunately they were not doing food but the landlord offered us a plate of chips with pulled pork and cheese. Absolutely lovely . Great pub vibe, friendly landlord, great garden. Will definitely be visiting again next time we are down in Somerset.

Popped in on our first night in Wedmore. I had the burger with delicious blue cheese and hubby had a chicken burger. Food was good, beer a suprise... good suprise for a dark beer drinker and nice wine. Good to see a local pub, with locals in it. Good food, good service, no complaints.
Popped in for steak night with friends. Warm welcome , good range of beers, super tasty food from a short menu with a couple of veggie options, outstanding value for money, definitely worth a return when next in the area

Been there twice so far fabulous food both times the owner is very likable person makes you feel welcome vey talkative and a great person and so is his wife nothing ever a problem I would give him 100/100 for his food

After a long journey from Lincolnshire, this place was a great find with very friendly staff and the food was spot on and reasonably priced. We will definitely return when we revisit this area again... Thank you The New Inn 👍
Visited this pub whilst on holiday. Wonderful amiable atmosphere and great hosts. The food was superb and cooked to perfection for me. Very generous portion sizes. Not spoilt by modernisation. Will highly recommend the place.
Despite giving them 35 minutes notice for a booking of 16 the landlord and staff were fantastic. Everyone enjoyed a wonderful roast lunch, with excellent kids and adult portions. Desserts to follow and everyone left with full tummies and big smiles. Well worth a visit.

The New Inn, was a brilliant 'local' pub to end our last night in Somerset. We enjoyed some fantastic food (steak was awesome) and nothing was ever too much trouble for Alex and Gemma. We would highly recommend to anyone after a busy day visiting the local sights or just wanting a really lovely meal
We had fabulous afternoon tea there this afternoon. Attentive service and beautifully prepared. Highly recommend. Such a lovely and welcoming little pub with garden. Traditional, but we were made to feel really special
OMG...the rump steak was the best steak I've had in years, the beer is awesome and the owners are so lovely. If you are ever in the area the pub is a must .
Great local pub, very friendly staff, cosy and inviting. Had a couple of pints in the sun in the garden, heavenly after a long walk with the dog. Next chance we get, would like to try the food.
