A really super little restaurant and outside dining specialising in fresh baked pizzas. Food was delicious and served in small batches direct from the oven. Good range of drinks from the bar but by far the best element was the service which was friendly, helpful and speedy throughout our visit.
Staff are incredible! Always friendly every time I come in, pizza is unreal and I’m my opinion such good value. I believe they also to takeout
A bit of a mecca for cyclists and just off the Ridgeway. Had a great coffee and flapjack. A real plus are the bike racks and lots of outside tables.
Wow, what a lovely pub. Came here for a bite to eat and drink on a Friday evening. There's lot's of seating outside and inside. Their specially us wood fired pizza. There's a few choices, or you can add toppings on.
Pizza came really and was delicious!
There was a lovely atmosphere that sat out in the garden. We then got a piece of delicious cake to take out with us on our post dinner walk. The cake is amazing, so tasty and large slices.
All the staff were so friendly and welcoming!
There's a small carpark, or you can park just down the road in the village carpark.
A regular go to for me and the family as we always have a great evening out. Amazing garden and great atmosphere inside, staff that look after you and make sure you have everything you need. Well looked after ales and a good wine selection capped off by freshly prepared pizzas cooked in a woodfired oven - what's not to love - recommended.
Great bike spot and for anyone who wants a stop by watlington. Great views nearby and very hospitable owners.
Stopped in here yesterday with our cycling club, with members coming from all parts of the country. We were very, very impressed with all of it. The staff were great, polite and helpful. The food was excellent too, the mini pizza's being just the perfect size to carry on cycling after consuming. Would love to come back for a pint or two in the future.
Bike parking was available too, another big plus.

Super location at the foot of the Chilterns.
All-weather outdoor seating, great staff, constantly rotating guest ales. What's not to like (as long as you like pizza of course).
Unique place served by a young enthusiastic team. Open till 11. Good car parking. Great scenery. Pizza oven and many other food options. Outdoor seating good for most weathers. Not sure if they have outdoor heaters. Bring your bike! Ideal mountain biking area.
This is a fantastic place to relax eating great pizzas and tasting refreshing good beer. Staff are friendly, helpful and very welcoming, which makes all the difference to have a great experience in the countryside
