I’m not sure where the bad reviews come from. I have been going to Kingfisher for years and the food is great! The only complaint I have is there is always a massive queue because it is so popular and they cook everything from scratch.
Just been in today 07/07/2019 and watched them Prepare the Fish and Waited for it to be freshly cooked -Saw the Chips go in and come out too
Good Portions and the Fish Chips were cooked just right

Scampi and Chips out of this world, can't beat it. You can not eat in here ONLY takeaways. They do telephone orders as well to save time waiting. Decent portion on Chip sizes as well.
