Visited this lunchtime to see what this old favourite was doing these days. I dropped in for a quick drink and stopped for what I can only describe as the best treat that my taste buds have had in a long time.

The pub is known as 'The Chequers' but this pub has just gone through a transformation into a 'Thai' Restaurant know as
(Fat Buddha Thai) they have completely remodenised and transformed the whole interior of the pub and brought it into the 21st century full of modern features of today.

Lovely well kept traditional pub with a Thai restaurant on the other side. Popped in for a coffee. Lovely service, atmosphere and heard from the locals the food is good. Would recommend a visit if in the area.
