Amazing fish and chips! I had a large cod and chips. The cod was light, crispy and full of flavour, and the chips were good too. The price, portion size and presentation of my meal was good. I have had this meal at other Watford chippies and it was overall the best at Haines so far.

Food arrived with in approx 15 minutes of being ordered, freshly cooked and nice and hot
Well wrapped with fish wrapped separately from the chips ( so no broken / split fish )
Very generous portion sizes
Fish was delicious very flavoursome and beautifully cooked and batter was lovely and light
Not greasy or thick and oily and totally eatable
Chips were fat and chunky and freshly cooked
Driver was very pleasant
Would highly recommend and will definitely be back again soon

Top chippy, great service and even better food. Situated in Haines Way, I was pleasantly surprised to find sizeable portion of chips where the quality outweighed the quantity.
I ordered a small fish and chips for myself with battered sausage and a chicken and mushroom pie for my wife. We could not have been more satisfied with our selection and I was surprised to hear that this place has only been open for a couple months!

I just delivered to the place and the proprietor, Gave me a free meal and drink because I helped him out in a big way just before Christmas. The food is amazing and very quick service I would highly recommend this place to any one who wants a good fish and chip shop
One of the best fish and chips I have been to. Really fresh and cooked to order. Massive portions and really reasonably priced. The fish is really fresh and the batter is perfect

I'll start by saying the organisation of the serving isn't the best but the food totally makes up for that. I've just eaten the best peri peri chicken I've ever had. Fantastic. Chips are epic too. Fully satisfied
Excellent peri peri. The fish is good too but limited menu... No rock salmon or cods roe!!
Also as its a grill, there should be more grilled choice : ribs, shish etc.
Overall a welcome addition to the area but needs to evolve.
