their pale ale is amazing, it smells delightful and tastes like tropical sunshine. There's over five real ales on tap.
They do home cooked foods on a Sunday and pizza from clay oven most nights.
If you are into running than join them on Wednesday nights for short jog around the park (5k,7k or 10k)
Great informal Tap room. Really friendly staff, superb beers and homemade Pizzas.
I've made a quite a few great friends here, so different to a pub atmosphere.

Love this place!! Very friendly staff and great eats. If you don’t like beer they do have wine and some hard liquor. It’s an awesome place to chill out and knock back a few.
This is a really great place to hang out - with great beer brewed on site. There is nowhere else like this in the area and this place should be supported. First time yesterday - will definitely be back again.
Great place, sadly gone out of business try Monks inn in Hemel Hempstead tho, (closed Mon, & Tue, Wed ,Thur close early) great quality ales, dog friendly, no silly 'shots' sold here mainly good ale & cider.
I absolutely love this place! Such a great local, so friendly, so much fun. I particularly love the comedy nights On the last Thursday of every month ❤️
Fantastic venue! Everyone is so welcoming. Would highly recommend a visit - you'll never want to leave!!
This is the most friendly and welcoming place to go in Watford.
Enjoyed a pint of Watling street at the Pre wood Arms
