John Lewis has already bedecked its store for Christmas as has the whole of Intu Watford.
I'm not sure if JL has already recruited its extra Xmas staff but I've never been asked so many times before if someone could help me as I was yesterday.
The store itself is as good as usual, full to the brim with everything you could wish for if only you had the money!
Smart, airy, bright department store with commited and respectful staff. Mini Waitrose on the top floor.

Fantastic shop, great as a new mum, easy to get around and have great facilities for feeding and changing, the cafe is nice, good food options. Carrot cake is amazing! Staff in all the departments are helpful and friendly. Lots of online ordering too, and had good experiences every time. Well done John Lewis.
The shop itself, once you've finally managed to park up is really lovely. My only problem is the two little lifts they have. I took my girlfriend in her wheelchair and we waited forever before one arrived. It's a fairly large store and the friendly staff seemed helpful and knowledgeable. If you need to use the lifts though you'll be spending a lot longer than planned.
Quality retailer with a good choice of items. We were looking for some furniture, they offer a good service in this area. They also send you up to 5 samples of the fabric to your home, for you to choose what coverings match, so makes it even easier to choose what's right for you. Would recommend the service and quality of goods.
Amazing shop with selection of quality brands. It has three floors of home electronics, furniture and food and beauty. Online order collection, restaurant and cash machine in the 3rd floor. Great customer service. Gift card available at the main cash counter.
Lovely store, easy access, facilities for the disabled and very good service. The home appliances and electrical department is brilliant. Shoe department is wonderful but nothing for vegans. The restaurant too has limited choices for vegans.
Five stars for customer service. But store needs a update feels outdated and worn!! The children's section needs to be a lot more interesting. The shopping experience is all part of the fun and the shop lacks modernisation and excitement! But still staff have always been fantastic!
I was in there with my 5 year old granddaughter, which made my visit pretty fraught but, the staff are very nice.
They don't hover over your shoulder all the time, but are there with help and advice when you need them. The store has a wide range of of things to suit most tastes. Things are a tad expensive, but if you want good quality and friendly service then I would recommend John Lewis

Car park is a nightmare. Spiral roads in an out are far too narrow with alloy scarring cerbs waiting to bite. If you need to pick goods up from John Lewis collection area DO NOT EXIT. Remain inside the barriers otherwise you will have to leave and re-enter. Car park is a ridiculous layout. But shopping mall is very good.
Always enjoy shopping at John Lewis. Their products are reliable and they have a responsible attitude towards any problems. I have marked them
down 1 star because they don't always seem to have enough staff on and their self service restaurant is a bit chaotic and needs better organisation.
This is my favorite store, if I need anything from clothing to TV, and Top technology stuff I will only buy from here.
Staff and service is just awesome, I'm actually in the store now getting some advice on some items.
Believe me when I say that the after sales is 1st class, John Lewis is the flagship of all the big store's by a mile.

Has everything you could dream of! A huge section for everything too. Staff are always helpful when I've asked questions. Despite the reputation the items I look at are the same here as they are everywhere else. The difference is John Lewis has a better warranty than most.
I came into the Benefit counter in John Lewis in Watford and was served by Donna Poloczek who was busy but made sure I was comfortable while waiting. She was very engaging and incredibly helpful in helping me choose the right products to suit my needs. I have never had such brilliant customer service and having worked in the industry myself I am very aware of the difference between someone who cares about their work and who is just going through the motions. I left feeling really positive and that she really cared about my needs. I would come back and hope to be served by her again. Brilliant service from a very lovely woman.
