This is my sisters regular restaurant. I tried it for the first time.
The food was good. We had the naan with chicken sharwama, chicken tikka, lamb tikka and grilled chicken and chips. These are served with salad but the salad was very little and isn't really a salad, just some shredded lettuce. As regular customers, My sister asked for more salad but the waitress told us we would have to pay for it. Salad is cheap and by honouring our request would have gone a long way.
Haven't tried any of the curries or rice.
Portion sizes are ok.
Prices are quite high.
Clean place and very nice ambiance.
Would definitely recommend it.
The food and the service here has always been great. Very well known for their kebabs and grilled meats. Enjoyed their curries on many occasions. Their naans are fantastic - definitely worth a try. High quality food for the price.
If you are an indian and in or near watford (London) this place is a must visit. We have tried almost everything on menu. My favourite one's haleem and chicken doner.
The best food in Watford by a significant distance - awesome.
If you are after grilled food with an Indian/Pakistani theme, this place ranks way up there. In fact my favourite of them all. The service is always warm and usually efficient. The food is epic. Enjoy the garlic and chill sauces, they are amazing. :)
Whilst living in watford this was my local takeaway and I miss it! if your going to order be ready to wait more then your local Indian ..usual time is 60-90 minutes but just order in advance. It's worth the wait..I would recommend the mixed grill especially the chops; soft smokey and spicy. The lamb Biriyani is packed full of flavour too. I've had food from here quite a few times and they are always consistent with what they deliver. As far as takeaways go I would say thumbs up.
I am more than impressed. The food was delicious and the staff was very kind. Food arrived fast and it tasted just great and very fresh. I was kinda hesitant after reading the other reviews about the staff being unfriendly but I can’t agree in any way. These people were more than welcoming and extremely nice!
From the start to finish everything was EXCELLENT! I will for sure be coming back for this experience again. The food and service and everything was 👌👌👌 great! I am very very impressed! 😊 Four different curry dishes we tried as a family & the roti and nana was perfect. All perfectly warm & cooked well!
Was visiting Watford from Kent and wanted to eat some real authentic food. The food was just amazing.. The curries were delicious and exactly what i was craving for. The ambiance is not a glitzy one but the food it top notch.
The service was very welcoming. We enjoyed our meal and i would definitely recommend it to my friends visiting Watford ...
I was shopping at the Atria shopping center in Watford. I wanted to eat with a friend, an authentic lunch and not food of the Mall. I read good reviews about this restaurant. When we arrived the restaurant was quite busy, mainly with people dressed in traditional clothes, who miss home cooking. It was a sign that the food would be delicious. The friends ordered 2 dishes of Kebab, and I had a dish of Chicken Tikka on Naan. The service was fast and efficient, the food was very tasty. The price was low and it felt like I got good value for money. Highly recommended place.
Always come here once a week, nice food and not expensive
My friend recommended this place which I don't regret. The food was reasonably priced and the food was amazing. Was sat down on a dirty table but waiter cleaned afterwards. This was the only disappointment hence the 4 star.
Enjoyed our meal here. Good quality of food - particularly enjoyed the biryani - and excellent decor. Service excellent. One star deducted for quality of whole chicken (overdone and not very meaty), but great option if in the area. Harrow’s taste of Lahore is better overall but this is still good!
Where do I begin? I’m not sure of the authentic taste of Lahore because I’ve never been there. But if the food here us anything to go by, it is super! Every dish was delicious. We had the kebabs and Karahi. Service was quick and with a smile. We totally loved it.
Great food as always. The staff were friendly, the service fast and efficient, with the food being delivered super quick. Easily my favourite Watford restaurant - I highly recommend you give them a try!

This time, we had the Chicken Tikka with Chips and Salad and it was worth it. Quality food every time.
We also tried the Stuffed Aloo Paratha, Butter Naan, Tadka Dal and Butter Chicken, both were tasty and authentic.
The Kadhai Chicken, newly introduced to the menu, is heavenly.

As an international student and a true Lahori girl, the thing that i miss the most about my country is FOOD. Recently i’ve been to this place in watford, and OMG the taste was so authentic and i loved the food. The quality was 10/10, and quantity was quite generous as well. Being a stundent it suits my budget as well because its not very expensive. The ambiance was good as well. The only reason i rate it 4 out 5 is the food came a bit late, and the staff was quite loud as they have an open kitchen.
We have been frequenting this restaurant for many years now and thoroughly recommend the food and the decent ambience. Their food is tasty and well cooked, portions are generous and it is reasonably priced. This is why it’s so popular with people and the owners need to take note of this. We ordered a lamb dish which was very well cooked, the meat was tender without any fat - how we like it. And portions were generous.
Due to the high turnover of people, extra effort has to be made to keep the place clean all the time and the washroom area as well.
Me & my friends went in last week for Iftar. Had a chicken biryani which was great. Highly recommended even in the midst of some of these negative reviews!
Medium sized halal restaurant in the heart of Watford. Easy parking on near by roads or large car parks near. Booked tables otherwise gets busy waiting . Excellent food and reasonably priced.
Lamb Kebabs, Methi Chicken, Lamb Biriyani and butter Naan. Although had to wait a bit longer as the restaurant was very busy fulfilling the orders. Well worth the wait. Sizeable portions of food. And very very tasty Methi Chicken. Methi has health attributes too. Lamb Biriyani was really nice too. I have to be a bit adventurous and try hot food. At moment medium. In this extraordinary times and at a busy time 7ish on Saturday the consistency of good food is awesome. Thank you Excellent service and food standard is excellent. Must try Karahi Chicken.
