Love this pub- staff are always welcoming and friendly. This is my ideal country pub- great in the summer with the large garden and cozy in the winter with warm fires and twinkling Christmas lights. Mum and I have just enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea consisting of finger sandwiches, cream scones with fresh fruit and jam plus numerous delicious tartlets and brownies. We did our best but alas couldn't possibly manage all that was on offer so of course we've gone home with doggy bags full of goodies! Thank you to the Boot

Lovely family lunch, food all delicious and staff very attentive. They bought out a special birthday pudding for my mum and sang Hapoy Birthday which was not promoted and really made her day. Would def recommend

My first visit to your pub and it was lovely. My daughter and I along with my daughters friends doggie received a warm welcome. Staff were very attentive and the food was absolutely fab. I had chicken and bacon pesto pasta, gorgeous and my daughter the burger. She mentioned it was better than Gaucho’s and a third of the price. We loved it. Will definitely be back soon, thank you, keep up the good work. 5

Great spot - lovely lunch - bit disappointed though that they could not serve my grandchild an ice cream or me a coffee after 3.00 - stating "kitchen closed" . After lunch we sat in garden for a little while and had promised my grandchild ice cream never thought kitchen would be closed for that & coffee!

It's a great friendly pub that takes dogs - 9ffers doggie goodies too. 😳😀🤡Staff are lovely. The menu is okay - traditional but they offer some groovy salads and have various theme nights. We like to pop in for breakfast at the weekend s with our doggie. We don't have kids but it's very child friendly having been voted family pub if the year last year and runner up this year. Zoe is lovey. Very welcoming.

Beautiful pub which suits the whole family. Really really good food, lovely atmosphere, great staff and wonderful play equipment for the kids. I didn't bring my children this time and it wasn't "too family-ish" meaning it can be enjoyed by all at all times! There were families, dates, girls catch ups and all sorts going on. Beautiful venue!

We went on Sunday for breakfast. Very good. Nice atmosphere. The service and the staff excelent, ones of the best we have seen. Really nice place in a beatuful village. We will come back. We loved the pub. The only "but" is that outside in the front door by the outdoor tables there were a lot of cigarretes on the floor and ash trays completely full (this is why not 5*). Perhaps there was an event or something the evening before because Inside was tidy and clean....and again, the stuff lovely.

We had an excellent lunch at the Boot on the August bank holiday Monday. We booked a table for 6 adults and 3 children very last minute and they managed to accommodate us much to our delight. The food was really excellent. But special mention must go to Imi who served us. She was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful to the kids and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks so much for such a great experience.

Just simply beautiful, amazing food, great atmosphere, and the best part is the kids slides which keeps the kids occupied during our stay. Well done team 🙏

Took my very elderly Mum & Uncle for lunch. A very very busy pub but still a really warm welcome. Zoe & all the staff were delightful. Excellent Sunday Roasts. It's a proper pub, not a Gastro Pub, real food and a lovely atmosphere. Thoroughly recommend.

We checked out Sarratt pubs for a Sunday roast and found the Boot. Can highly recommend. We had a really lovely meal. Generous and tasty portions, super staff as they were friendly and attentive. Pub was a little noisy for me as they cater for families and children. I have hearing difficulties but staff kindly found a quiet corner table. Nothing was too much trouble

We had the dog with us and it was great to be able to sit outside and take him with us! It was even covered so if it rained or got really windy we had shelter! We had the roast dinner as it was a Sunday. The chicken was enormous! The beef was plentiful too... Overall a very good and filling roast dinner! The Boot is a very dog friendly place, so highly recommended if you want somewhere to eat and have the dog with you. There is a carpark but it can get quite full on a Sunday. A little tricky to turn around if you drive a monster truck! 😂.... But got there in the end!

Enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch with family. Everything cooked perfectly and piping hot. Polite and friendly service from Esme who looked after us very well. Liked the space between tables. Would have given an extra star for more cauliflower cheese and vegetables. Cauliflower cheese came high on the ingredients list for a roast and we were hoping for more. It was quite hard to find on the plate. Whoever made the sticky toffee pudding gets a big thumbs up. In fact the desert menu had a lot of my favourites. It was a busy day and the car park was challenging, but more spaces than many places. We were given a warm welcome and could recommend giving this a try.

Delicious dirty burger has it all...loaded with bacon, Stilton, mushrooms, tomatoes, lettuce, gherkin, onion rings, hunk of juicy meat, freshly made slaw and fat chips. Great service and beers! This place was a wonderful find, to sit in the autumnal sun.

The Boot hosted our wedding at the end of June this year. We’ve always loved The Boot as place to eat or drink and were delighted they were able to accommodate us for our reception. From the moment we first enquired Zoe and her team were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble - and despite the ever changing guidelines for CV-19 we were always reassured that it would be the best it could be. We were given the freedom to decorate the terrace area to our taste popping up some decorations on the morning. The team set everything up for us and when we walked in we were overwhelmed with how perfect everything looked - with some great personal additions! So many of our guests commented on how good the team were, keeping drinks topped up and quick table service for other drinks! The food was fantastic and just what we wanted - again with plenty of positive comments for our guests. We looked at so many different types of venues and caterers for our big day and are both so happy that we decided to use our favourite pub! It was special to us before and even more so now! A big thank you to Zoe, Nick and the whole team!

Really nice boozer! I stayed in the area and went there every evening for a week or so. Always had a daily good special on in the evening, beer good, staff friendly. The bar is tiny so expect a line but that’s the pleasure of old English pubs!

Had my first meal here and it was a nice surprise. The menu had some great vegetarian options. I ate the pork and black pudding scotch egg with some pickled beetroot and onion condiment. The egg had a perfect golden yellow runny centre. Delicious. For main I had the Sea bass from the specials board. That was nice. And for dessert a great selection of mini cakes, where one was warm and the ice cream creamy. I will definitely go back and try some of the vegetarian options. (Only thing I would change is the design of the menu)
