Apart from the drab outside impression (entrance foyer needs a makeover too), this was one of the nicest eating experiences in a TGI we've had as a family.
Starters were lovely (decent portion too) - especially when washed down with a cheeky cocktail 🍸 - and my burger main was nicely cooked without the common overlooking of the meat. My daughters steak was really well cooked and medium /rare was duely provided.
Staff were nice and helpful too. Recommended.

American style diner, not too expensive, big portions, good fresh food. Not many options for starters or vegan . Very Good service but slow kitchen.
Food was delicious. I had the Cajun bacon chop and my partner had the ultimate cheese burger with chips. Pipping hot when it came out. staff were friendly and welcoming. Only downfall for me was the volume. It was incredibly noisy, so much so that we didn't stay for dessert as it was too much for me.
Edited for reply - the music was the main issue. But because the music was too loud everyone was obviously talking over it. As someone with sensitivity to noise I find this in most restaurants I visit. I wonder if it's possible to have a quieter corner where there's no speaker or the speaker is turned off.
Visited as 2 adults and 2 children. Service was great and the staff are so friendly, and great with children. We enjoyed the ultimate American grill (the Cajun pork chop was delicious) we got a free children's meal, and also ordered mozzarella dippers, and tiger fries. We enjoyed it all ☺️
We're regulars here and today we popped in for a quick lunch. The food was good, the burgers and ribs never disappoint. Our server Agata was attentive, friendly and very professional. The cocktails are pricey at TGIs so the £5 cocktails offer was most welcome. Mr & Mrs D
I don’t usually write reviews but after the amazing service from a bright young girl who served me and my family I’ve been left no choice!! her name is Sienna (not so sure if I spelt it right) but she made she made every penny spent worth it, my daughter had allergy problems and I was quite hesitant about ordering but Sienna was patient and so kind to us.Usually workers get worked up about these things the little things mean so much honestly I’m so grateful definitely returning 🤗
Althought there was a group of loud children running around knocking things over and there was celery missing from my plate and we had to ask for more sauce and wait a small while the food was tasty. For us though it was the server who went out of her way to talk to us. She was friendly, kind and patient. Our server needs a promotion, a raise or both.
It’s friendly place and the kids always enjoy themselves. I have eaten here at the north Watford restaurant a few times. Never had a bad meal but my dish could have been better cooked. The chicken was a bit dry but the glaze saved the day. The kid’s meal no problem. Service from Ashley was fantastic really good at his job and kind gentle soul. In my humble opinion Ashley is a credit to this restaurant.
Food was as expected although portion size for the chicken quesadilla was small and the fries portion also small. Service was asked to be quick and was good. Other diners in our party had good food... Not great. Good place for larger parties as plenty of space a reasonable priced.
Our visit to TGI Fridays in Watford was made exceptional by Agata, our server. Her attentive and friendly service added a delightful touch to our dining experience. With her helpful menu suggestions and warm demeanor, she made sure we had a great time. The food was delicious, and Agata's excellent service made it even more enjoyable. We can't wait to come back for another memorable meal!

Having loved the one back in Australia it was awesome to be able to go to another restaurant in a different country and enjoy the same great service and food. The menu is slightly different but as it is constantly evolving there was nothing wrong with that. The service was great from start to finish. My attendant Cat or Catherine was wonderful and always made sure I had everything I needed. The food as always was delicious. The steak cooked perfectly. The only problem I ever have in this place is not being able to fit all the food in. Thank you for making me feel at home last night 11/9.
It was difficult to get in because the doors are very heavy and quite narrow. Once inside there was a bit of a wait to be seated but it wasn't too bad. Once seated we were served quickly and the food brought out in very good time too. The food itself was absolutely delicious. The dessert was nice but there were limited options. All in all I highly recommend, only reason it's not five stars is because we had difficulty in opening the doors when we arrived and again when we left.
Great TGI experience. We were a party of 8 and everything ran very smoothly. Food was excellent and the wait for food was great (not too quick, not too slow). The food was hot and everyone enjoyed their meals.
The customer service was second to none. A huge shout out Agata who went above and beyond to help us. We need a heat pack warming and this was done without question and we were so grateful. My father also has a big interest in the pin badges she was wearing and she managed to get some for him to keep! Made his day!

Our waitress Sienna W was great, very attentive and helped me order with a manager to cater for my allergy. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience and would definitely recommend to all! Sienna made us feel very comfortable during our meal and nothing was to much to ask!
