The interior of this restaurant is not quite impressive but the food is very good.Had been to this place quite a number of times & had also ordered takeaways,on each & every time,the food was really really good.The staff is very helpful as well.
Ate at this restaurant by chance when staying in Watford for a few weeks- so glad we did. Staff are incredibly attentive without being intrusive. Food is amazingly flavoursome.
It was so good that we returned- even though there are many alternatives in the area. We were amazed that the staff remembered us and even gave us complimentary after dinner drinks. Highly recommend this restaurant.
My daughter wanted a curry as she had her braces off and couldn’t have one for two years. She loved the chicken korma and the chicken bhuna was great too. Will come back!
My spouse and I order from Spice Lounge regularly and love it, and have also dined in from time to time. We're both vegetarian and love South Asian food, so we've tried most if not all of the curry houses in the Watford area - this one is our favourite by far. The makhani sauce in particular is amazing, and the food is consistently good and not too greasy, which is usually our issue. The flavours are good and nuanced, the Medium and Hot options are properly spicy, as someone who usually orders Hot at most places I find Medium is right for me here.
A bit more expensive than some of the competition but well worth it to us, and the delivery portions are large enough that we often get 2 dinners for both of us if not more out of a £40 delivery order.
The food was lovely.. it was late and the delivery driver was delightful kind and arrived on time (I was half asleep) he was cheerful told me food is great enjoy :)
Food was hot and requests followed the prices are high but as a one off it was worth it :) worth it but due to price will wait for a while till nxt in the area. Great comms

Visiting Watford we found this little gem by chance and so glad we did.
Food is flavoursome and beautifully served in decent portion size, by incredibly attentive yet unobtrusive staff.
So good we returned a second ( and potentially a third) time during our short stay in Watford !

After a quick scan of Google I found this place and im so glad I did. I have literally just eaten here and what can I say, the food was amazing! Service was friendly, food was piping hot and tasty, so overall experience could not have been better! Great place, will definitely return to try other dishes..... thank you!
Everything was cooked perfectly, exactly as requested, and so delicious! Highly recommend the biryani's. Was a great dinner to celebrate my birthday.

We have used the spice lounge a lot for takeaways but this time we visited. The food is always good. They have a wide selection on the menu and plenty of options for vegetarians. The restaurant is not large, but nevertheless, we were not disrupted by the takeaway service. Something that sadly is often the case these days with all the various delivery companies lining up! the service was fast and attentive. The restaurant is close to church parking as while in theory you could park in the road, it's not much of a reality. We visited prior to going to the Palace Theatre and it is open early enough to do so, and it is only a short walk to the theatre. I recommend a visit!

Delicious food and great service. We had to leave suddenly due to a personal issue, the staff helped us pack our food into take out boxes and rush out quickly. We got to enjoy our food properly later and it was 10/10
