My Mr and I went for the (pre booked) "Festive" menu yesterday and it was sensational! For £25 each, we enjoyed an outstanding four courses meal and generous glass of homemade mulled wine accompanied by the greastest customer service in a cosy christmassy -but not over the top- atmosphere. The special Christmas beer on the tap was also excellent. The make over that this pub had since the new owners took over is incredible and it offers the highest standards of food with a fantastic value for money.

Went for a late lunch yesterday, was encouraged by their good reviews. The pub was nicely decorated, the staff were really friendly and the food was lovely. I have to admit, I think, I have found my new favourite dessert (Gin, elderflower and Ginger cheesecake). If we lived locally, we would definitely be back!!

Can't fault it in anyway. Those who remember the old Levi pub would be astonished in the change. This is now a very nice pub/restaurant suitable for families. The food was of an extremely high standard, decent portion sizes and reasonable prices. Drink selection was very good and the service was excellent. So pleased we were told about this pub, we will be returning many more times.

I really liked this pub. It was clean, comfy, cosy and has strong Wi-Fi. Plus, the staff were friendly. It is a must recommend for those wanting to watch the football while having a drink.

This is the second time I have eaten here. The food is fantastic, and we can't wait to return. Unfortunately they had no roast dinners left when I got there but everything else tastes great. Sat out in the cute wee beer garden on Sunday which is a lovely surprise. One aspect about The Prince George is that we can bring our dog. The decor is beautiful and the staff friendly, it's very easy to walk past this bar but after the refurb it certainly welcomes you in. What a great local for North Watford.

To me it's important to capture the cosiness and friendliness of this amazing venue where I felt strangely at home amidst the warmth and comfort of the upgraded pub! Poodle cross dogs nestled in cushions on the corners listening to voices from customers and delicious food served with generous portions! Added to this the bar staff were super efficient and friendly as was the atmosphere! Who could ask for anything more! Wanted to express my thoughts before it drifts away into the abyss !

The food was amazing, I had fish of the day and it was melt in the mouth. Loved it. I will be back again very soon. Thank you to the team at the Prince George, great work all round.

Simply delicious. Couldn't fault the food! Huge, tasty, well cooked and very fine cuts of meat. This is the pork, the lamb and the beef. Roast of course. Lovely staff, warm and friendly atmosphere. The whole restaurant sang my mum happy birthday without prompt 😄 She was so delighted. 4 stars only because the restaurant room is a bit noisy (wooden floor). And they need to sharpen their knives so you can enjoy your meal without quite so much effort. Idea already passed on! We will be back. Loved it 😍

Part 2 Sunday roast - get the beef short rib. You won’t be disappointed Part 1 The Prince George is a great family run pub with a great South African Themed menu! Try the curry, it’s was so delicious with a big kick. My partner said the burgers always taste great. Haven’t been in a while but have been to a few Tuesday Night pub quizzes hosted by Adam. Always a great laugh! They have always been so accommodating when going with a friend which needed to have a Gluten Free menu, they were extremely helpful in this regard, cooked her meal separate so there was no gluten contamination. Well done!

Arrived just after they opened on a Saturday. If this was an east end pub it’d be packed because it’s REALLY nice, I don’t know the location well but it seems off the beaten track. Very quiet from 12ish and starting getting busier at 3pm. Music playing was classic rock and some 80s pop. Currently table service. Ordered the halloumi fries (delicious! With minty yoghurt and pomegranate seeds) and then the mac and cheese - one with bacon and one without - and they were hot, tasty, but not too heavy. Ordered a bottle of Prosecco and got given raspberries and sparkling glasses. Attentive service and would definitely return.

The food was absolutely incredible. We all had a roast. The lamb was spectacular! One of the best I've had. The pub itself is looking slightly outdated, but the food is 100% worth it.

Really amazing place all round!! Lovely pub with a nice relaxed, slightly quirky and welcoming vibe! Staff are absolutely great, so attentive, friendly and absolute pleasure to deal with. The food is really top notch, I had the South African burger. It was delicious, cooked to perfection and served with fabulous chips too! It's really reasonably priced and they also have a great wine list, again this is really reasonably priced for really good quality wine! Lots of my friends have visited to and recommended the place. Everyone has only positive things to say! We love this place, check it out cannot recommend highly enough!

I've been meaning to post a review the last time I visited as it was just so damn good! Easter roast beef was just divine and the staff, owners are all wonderful people who make you feel welcome and part of the family! I don't say this lightly, but it's the best roast I've ever had, honestly if you're reading this, get over there and experience for yourself. Absolutely top notch!!

Great place with super nice owners. Walk in and feel like home. Live music with a rockin' USA girl on guitar too. Close to Warner Brothers Harry Potter experience.

Quite a small cosy pub with excellent food. Slightly more upmarket than usual pub. Smallish beer garden out back. Pub attracts people looking for a decent meal and not somewhere for sport, pool, fruit machines etc.

Absolutely fantastic pub, we called for a drink whilst we decided what to do for tea after a long day at Harry Potter world. Why did we need to decide - this place does amazing food at fab prices so we didn't move. Nothing was too much trouble and we all enjoyed. Will defo be recommending to everyone and returning next time we head to London x

Excellent service. Food is amazing. Sandra went out of her way to accommodate at short notice a funeral gathering. Coeliac and vegetarian options were also available. Only downside, is parking. There is a car park down the road, if the pub car park is full.

Glad to see they opened again. There are not many escaping options in the surroundings to wait as others search for treasures. This pub has a pretty good food (don’t miss the Sunday roast) and kind staff. If you are not hungry, their special sodas are not bad neither, and you can enjoy them in a welcoming room.
