I was welcomed by the locals and friendly bar staff.
I enjoyed a Moretti and a John Smith bitter with a better quality packet of crisps for just over £11.
Would return.

We went in by chance as got stuck in traffic and the pub was closed.
The lovely lady let us in and gave us a well needed cup of tea and coffee. Then wouldn't take any money for it as not open yet.
Had a great chat and would thoughly recommend will be coming back soon to try the menu.
I had my 60th Birthday party, it was a great atmosphere with lovely friendly staff that provided a smashing buffet with a variety of cold food. A Saturday evening with a great DJ that played a wide range of music, I would highly recommend for a great evening as I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Thank you to all the staff at the Centurion, who went that extra mile on the 1st July and made my evening a special one x
Went for breakfast on Saturday, lovely Full English, friendly family atmosphere and very reasonably priced. Definitely worth repeating.

After a refit and change of landlord this pub has been brought back to life . Friendly staff and good atmosphere and good choice of meals . Found the drinks slightly more expensive than others nearby but will revisit this local
We have lived in the area for many years and were keen to see the refurbishment. We visited last Thursday and had an enjoyable experience with great service and an excellent deal on wine during Happy Hour. We visited again last night but the music was too loud making conversation difficult. However as before bar staff were very polite and helpful.
Great beer good grub.... we were too late to get food but fantastic pub with free pool on some week nights

What a great place to go and unwind after a busy shift working. The new Management know exactly what the locals want and have delivered and surpassed expectations. Went there on a Saturday evening for a 50th birthday party. The staff were friendly and the entertainment in the form of a singer was excellent.
New team are brilliant, very friendly and welcoming, oh and the food is top drawer, you wouldn't think it was pub grub but a high end restaurant instead

Group of us went here last night for my daughter’s hen do, they close there kitchen at 5pm but went above and beyond for us giving us meals at 6pm, reserved us a lovely corner for all our party and even gave us a bottle of Prosecco on ice for free, we all had the most amazing evening and felt very welcomed, will 100% be back Thankyou for such a lovely evening

Me and my husband had our wedding here August 2018. Everything was perfect Dawn couldn't do enough for us and the atmosphere was perfect. The locals that come to the pub are all really friendly and we felt very welcome. Booked in for my birthday again in November this year definately worth looking at for a local function or even just to pop down for a drink. Dawn even got becks in for our wedding because the pub didn't sell them she went the extra mile and I can't thank her enough for her hospitality, xx
