Quite friendly, comfortable, with a shaded outdoor area. I have visited 5+ times with multiple people, and I've had no complaints for the drinks or snacks. Always nice regardless of the weather.

Further to my last review, please make outside a no smoking area. Trying to have food and coffee is in the fresh is is impossible with smokers. Nice coffee as usual in Costa, relaxed atmosphere. Unfortunately you can't sit outside unless you want to sit with the smokers. Please change this Costa.

A spacious café with lots of comfortable seating and a relaxed atmosphere. The staff are lovely, the food and drinks are of excellent quality and fairly priced. There's free paring just round the corner, and it's based on London Road whilst next to Lidl, so ideally situated. However, during my last visit, I found circumstances a little different. The chocolate twist was poor quality, and the Chai Latte was lacking in flavour. The service was impeccable as always, and the atmosphere was pleasant, but the food and coffee were a letdown on this particular occasion. Much like anywhere, your views can change in a day. After another visit, the Chai Latte was back up to standard, and again, the service was perfect. It really depends on the batista on the level of quality

So a freezing cold day in early January, and my car is going for a service and mot. Will take at least a couple of hours i'm told... I dont know the area but thought I would walk and see what I came across. After around 10 minutes, I could smell roasted coffee, and in the distance I could see the costa logo. Warmth woohoo! In I head, to be greated by a very friendly female member of staff, who enquired about my day - I explained why I was in the area, she told me not to rush which I thought was really nice. I have my medium special blend cappucino with a shot of caramel - lovely - and a toasted sausage bap also really nice. I sat on a comfy chair, I used the free wifi, and read The Times (how civilised). I spent about 1.5 hours there and for £6 I thought it was a bargain really. Whilst there I watched the two female members of staff, and I was impressed at the dedication they showed to their roles, talking about what they needed to do next, always making the time to say hello and show interest in their customers. Ultimately, its not just a good cup of coffee that makes a venue, it is also the overall enviroment and I would recommend based on my experience today.

Absolutely great experience - came in and sat down to work for a few hours no complaints from me. Staff were lovely and worked very hard even when it was very busy. It was a bit confusing when they closed at 4pm as google says open until 5.30(?) but that was no fault of the staff. Workers were very professional even when dealing with an angry customer who didn't seem to understand the word closed.

Good little Costa, offering everything you'd expect from the franchise. There's good space inside but could use a refresh

Love my local Costa. Great quick friendly service, the store is always clean and tidy and rarely too busy (it will be if it keeps getting great reviews though!) Well done to all the team 👍

Nice Costa to go to. Plenty of seating space inside. Never seems crazily busy either. Probably due to location on old A3 London road. Worth the walk there if you can manage it. Staff are always smiley and friendly. Nice little outside seating decking aswell. Always popular with doggie walkers..

Elliot served me, a totally charming guy, very engaging conversation. Invited me to plug in my laptop and work from a table. Quiet environment until around 10.30 when it started to get quite busy creating a nice atmosphere. Still room to sit down. If not for the staff it would just be another Costa.
