Gorgeous county pub. Visited and sat outside in quite a large party! This pub is absolutely PERFECT on a sunny day! Ordered in advance and food came out quickly and staff where very efficient and friendly!!!!!!! Food was lovely!

Stumbled upon this fantastic country pub on a hike. So cosy and beautiful inside and lovely garden outside. Food was excellent and staff very friendly and great. Will definitely return and recommend to others.

The pub is a little out of the way and has parking for a reasonable number of cars. It wasn't that busy considering we visited on Good Fri

Called in on Sunday didn't book but they found us a table. Roast beef dinner to die for, best I have tasted in years. Good choice of wines, roasts beef,pork,lamb,gammon . But book very busy.

Fantastic meal again. I had forgotten how huge the portions are! Loads of under cover outdoor seating and a lovely heater too. Throughly enjoyed it and perfect service as always.

Treated a friend to a birthday meal and they were so impressed by the quality of the food and the beautiful garden area , had to wait a little longer for the food but the pub was quite busy at the time. would highly recommend this gem of a pub.
Really great traditional pub. Tasty food, beautiful grounds with a field, river and kids play park. Really traditional looking inside.
