Local branch of well known bakery chain in Gateshead very busy most of day as its on main Durham Rd and staff friendly but Queues build up quickly and need at least one more assistant
Greegs is just lush. But the don't have the hot chicken or wedges their.
Excellent service. Friendly staff. Extended opening times a real bonus unlike many other Greggs that open later and close earlier.

I like going for the odd things here and there and I like the stotties and the cakes and pasties and pies and sandwiches and the cookies and other things the staff are friendly and helpful and kind and you can get coffees and drinks and cold drinks and it’s not that expensive but somethings are just got to watch and they have offers on
The staff in Concord Greggs are excellent. Some of the best in the tradition of community first. Otherwise this store is much the same as other stores. There was very handsome engineer chap with tools repairing something. There was some fluttering going on with the females in the queue and even behind the counter I think. Anyway ordered my food paid on the app (I put money in mine, then it's one scan and done. It easy you can trust it.) I left and went in to the bus stop waiting for the Bus. I'm not as young as I was and I have some peripheral nerve damage down my left side. And my right arm tends to flick with a nervous tik. This happened today. And I dropped my coffee. I went for another Cappuccino and told the lady what had I done with the one I bought moments ago. Maybe it was my veterans badge or she just felt she should and she said oh dear I'll get you another one. No charge she said. And I hobbled out to await the bus. On the bus I wrote this.
It's Greggs!! Every greggs gets a 5 star rating just going by the sausage rolls! 🤣 this 1 would get another star if possible cos I have a close family member working there haha

Affordable, tasty food and a good variety always available.
Gregg's is a nice place to eat. The food here is all hand made. It's decor and cleanly -ness is very good and as well for the staff they are kind polite and extremely helpful. Once I went there and I didn't have enough money to buy the food I need and this extremely kind lady helped me out and payed for it herself and I hope that lady gets repaid for her kindness.
Galleries shop more often visited, handy as you can eat there too. All pastries very good, white chocolate cookies a favourite of mine. One of my recommended places to go for quick reasonable lunch.
ordered a box of pepperoni pizzas from justeat today and upon delivery the greggs team had left a gorgeous message on my box with a bunch of hearts, really made my day, thank you xoxo
Very friendly staff iv been going to this store for over 8 years now and it never let's me down always something for everyone.
Greggs at Concord, Washington has a first class staff, always smiling and ready to help. Unlike the Greggs, out of this area, they serve beef mince pies. Get there while they have them to offer😎
