Love the woodlands and Deborah the manager, had my sister in laws 70th surprise party/gathering there, staff were lovely, food was lush, nice friendly atmosphere with good music. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone x
Had our sons 3rd birthday here combined with a "meet the new baby" party on Saturday. Everything was perfect! Cannot thank everyone enough for making the day so special. Kids loved the softplay! Food was delicious and nothing was too much trouble for the staff! Would highly recommend venue for a party or lunch whilst the kids play! We will definitely be back soon!
We had our sons christening party there yesterday. It was perfect. I can’t find fault with a single thing. The owners went above and beyond. They decorated the room for us as we couldn’t decorate due to another party being in on the morning and did a great job.
All our guests had a good time and the children loved the soft play area and played for hours. Would definitely recommend this pub to anyone for a party or even to pop in for a drink while the kids play. Thank you woodlands for a lovely day. Xx
Literally sat here all day kids meals were great value for money as u get the meal with a drink and ice cream kids loved it we sat and had a few cocktails which were lush and only a 5a each while the kids played in the play area and bouncy castle and were totally entertained all day fab day and will defo be back xxxx
First time visiting here since new management has taken over. Food is great quality and value for money! We came here as a party of 8. Food was quick to be served and tasted delicious! Staff were very kind and great with the children. Can’t wait to return and would highly recommend. Well worth a visit. Even if for a quick drink the atmosphere is nice.

Visited for the first time last Sunday 6th august. Both had the lamb dinner. It was the best Sunday dinner we have had in a long time. Food was piping hot.lamb was delicious .great variety of vegetables and the Yorkshire and gravy was very nice . Will definitely be back .all the staff are lovely too. highly recommended
I highly recommend Woodlands Ricklenton in Washington. A wonderful space for parties, both for children and adults. I was very pleased with the services provided on my son's birthday and on the birthdays of his colleagues. Recommend👍👍👍 💯💯💯
Just had Sunday lunch with my sister OMG it sooooooo delicious I had pork my sister had beef. First time here and will definitely be back. Good priced and great value, loads of meat, all veg fresh and tasty. I have tried lots of places for Sunday lunch and can be fussy. I can't fault anything, if you like going out with Sunday lunch would highly recommend yum yum.
Best Sunday lunch I've EVER had delivered, great portions, all veg tasted as it should, chicken tasty as, the gravy was perfect, nobody ever likes to go anywhere for food with me as I'm so fussy, no complaints at all
I was recommended to come to the Woodlands in Rickleton by a few people I know as they said the food is beautiful. Myself and 3friends came and we were not disappointed at all. The food was unreal and piping hot. The staff were really friendly and went out of their way to get us everything we needed. Will defo be returning!

Woodlands pub in Rickleton is quite spacious inside & outdoor seating for when weather is nice great for kids aswell as they have the soft play area for them

First time been in here staff was friendly food was lovely been a whilst since I had peas on my dinner very quiet .Nice place to come for a drink one night or two .even the dog got fed when we got back home beef chicken and lamb .we'll done keep service up loved it
Lovely Sunday lunch for family birthday celebrations. 15 of us in total and meals were really lovely, especially the Yorkshire's! Really good portions and plenty of of meat and variety of vegetables. Staff very accommodating and helpful. Will definitely visit again.

The meat was perfectly cooked and plenty of it!! The veg and roast potatoes were delicious with home made Yorkshire pudding and roast gravy out of this world.Norhing as good as this in washington Thank you Deborah and staff.

The free indoor play area is great for keeping kids entertained. The arcade, pool table and huge TVs make the sports bar area one of the best in the area. The food is great especially the Sunday dinners.
Great family ran bar. Lovely food. Bar staff fun and makes everyone feel welcome. Great soft play for kids. Cheap drinks. Great night out or afternoon snacks.
