We were staying in Upper Tysoe this weekend and made our way down to the Peacock Inn for a quick drink before heading up to the distillery in Shipston Upon Stour. Upon entering the lounge, which was very traditional and homely, we were met by Jules who was friendly and made us feel really welcome
Very pleasant country pub - surprisingly large at the back. Great beer, nice people beautiful setting.
Really friendly landlady. A real ale pub, really well kept cask ales. Black Sheep, Pedigree and Courage went down well. Took our own food, children loved the 2 pub dogs, open fire and a collection of gollies.
Dog friendly pub if you only want a beer.
You can get a Chinese from the counter at one end of the pub and eat it in if you want but they don't do their own food. Ps they have got a big lawned garden.

Great food last night at the Peacock. Can highly recommend the 2 for 1 burger special . The food was excellent, 6 of us all had a fantastic meal served with a smile . It couldn't have been nicer....thank you Very much 😊 p.s I'm not sure where the 4 ☆ rating came from. .easily a 5 🤔

Stopped off for a quick pint in the garden. A good ale hit the spot. Worth going back again.
Sat in the garden in the sunshine with friends. There is a marquee for when the weather is not so kind. Husband enjoyed the real ale.
Always friendly atmosphere landlady keeps a great beer cellar nice place to meet up with friends & family.
