We've had a great time out tonight after a long and stressful day. Generous portions for the price and service was exceptional. We ordered the mix grill which was spot on, the feather blade of beef was delicious, and then the trio of desserts from the specials menu was also great. We'll definitely be recommending to others and hope it won't be too long before we're back again.

Called in for lunch, it was fairly quiet on the Monday, service was good as was the food. My wife had steak n ale pie and I had the Greek lamb kebab with dressed Feta salad which was really nice. We would have no hesitation in eating here again.

Being regular customers for many years, the Racehorse made changes to its menu and lost its excellent reputation. Having been taken over again by new owners, it's back to "a proper pub." We were met by Alicia on arrival, my god she definitely puts the race in racehorse, She never stops. Her work ethic and customer service are second to none. She went above and beyond to give us an excellent dining experience. It was nice to see a younger person who takes pride in her work and is full of chat. If you've had a bad dining experience here before, you must go back and give it another try. We were not disappointed, our food came out within a reasonable time frame and was piping hot. We didn't manage to finish it all and left with full tummies. Excellent value for money, fab service, fab Alicia.. See you again soon, and thanks again 10 šŸŒŸ

Great food, please mention dressings on the menu as I didnā€™t eat much of the starter as it had a lot of it on the salad, if Iā€™d knew Iā€™d of asked for it without. The main was really good šŸ˜ we was also sat next to a party and couldnā€™t hear each other talk. As much as we enjoy entertainment, we planned this visit for a get together to catch up

A decent place to go. We arrived early, so found a table and had a drink to pass the time. Having to wait 10 to 15 minutes for a cup of tea to be delivered to the table was a little steep. I think if I hadn't gone up and asked where it was, it might have been a lot longer. 2 of us had the Carvery which they really enjoyed and I ordered Lamb shank of the menu. It was your typical sous vide (reheat in a bag) food but that's okay, it's always consistent, like most places.

We were asked to take put two dogs onto the bar area to sit and eat. Only negative was 5he tables and floor were a little sticky I places.
