When we arrived there was no rush for us to get to the table so we sat and had a relaxing drink. Our order was taken by the staff who were very pleasant and obliging. When the food came it looked delicious and was served on hot plates which makes a big difference to the food. It all tasted delicious and the crackling was to die for !!! Portions were large which made it hard to pick a dessert so we went for the cheese platter. I must say the atmosphere was great and staff very pleasant the afternoon slipped by too quickly but we had been there for two hours or more but nobody bothered us. I would definitely recommend it and would love to return.
Never visited the place before, went on Easter Sunday as we were visiting Warwick for a long weekend. The food was absolutely delicious. The waiters/waitresses gave top notch service and the timing of all three courses was just right. Even brought out extra Yorkshire puds which our kids thought was a great idea as they love them. There was also live music from The Pips who covered 80s, classics, classic house tunes and pop, they were fantastic and added to a great atmosphere. They don’t do children’s menus but you can order anything from the menu in half portion sizes. So much better as you know they are eating quality food instead of run of the mill kids style meals. Anyone visiting Warwick must visit here. We booked as knew it would be busy. There were a few things that they had ran out of but it was the easter weekend so not surprised. It didn’t take away anything from our experience.

Been here few times and every time has been excellent, i love the fact that they change the menu regularly so there is always something new to try! You are never rushed here and our order was taken by the staff who were very pleasant and obliging. When the food came it looked delicious and was very tasty. I would definitely recommend it and will definitely return.
We got back from holiday yesterday to discover our oven & hob had broken. With no prospect of cooking anything, let alone Sunday lunch, we decided to head to the Rose & Crown and were not let down. Literally the best Sunday lunch around and the children loved it too. As a coeliac I didn't feel like I missed out at all, even got gravy; amazing! Thanks R&C.
6 of us walked in for lunch having not booked on a busy weekend. Very accommodating and found us seats after a little wait. Food was lovely as was the service and whole atmosphere of the venue. Staff couldn't do enough for you, lovely place.
Stunning Sunday lunch. Highly recommended. Jug of gravy on the table and offers of more roasties and Yorkshire pudding during the meal. Not helpful to the waistline, but great service and a great meal...
Lovely food, gorgeous setting (location) but what made the experience ever more enjoyable were the friendly, polite and thoughtful staff.

Really nice welcoming pub and lovely restaurant. We went to steak night Thursday. Had a great meal.
Lovely relaxing evening, good food, great service, the friendliest staff ever! Room was very comfortable with everything you need for a short stay.
We had vouchers to spend as a Christmas gift, from going in on a busy Saturday night was greeted and told table would be at 9! That was absolutely fine, we went away and came back, and our faces were recognised for the table Straight away. The service was amazing and the food was absolutely spot on! Mia who was the waitress on that night is an absolute credit to that pub!!! She completed the whole service we received from everyone there. A young friendly face who was always smiling !! Well done Rose and Crown for our first visit it was fab !!!!

Pros: The breakfast. The location. The service. Staff friendliness. The bar/beer selection. The atmosphere. The room size (family room). Seriously, the breakfast.
Cons: the room - it has broken appliances and the double bed was two singles put together. The toilet seat has a large crack on it. If I could choose next time, I'd prefer to be over the pub. Also, our room windows (which are gorgeous) was under the Square's overhead lights and the curtains arent blackout so it's very very bright at night.
Conclusion: will absolutely stay again, the value is great. Must book on the amazing breakfast! Will ask for a pub room next time or extra sheets for the windows if in the other building.
Had a lovely stay at The Rose & Crown. Rooms were cozy, clean and tidy. We also booked in for dinner one evening and the food was delicious, would recommend doing the same. We also had breakfast included and the Full English was amazing!! One of the best. Staff were friendly and helpful, was great that the restaurant/pub/rooms are dog friendly too!
Really nice pub in the centre of Warwick recommended by our hotel. No parking at pub, some a few minutes walk away in which we got one of the last spaces. Parking suggestions are on pub website. Bright and airy space with very nice service. Food was good and we enjoyed our evening. IPA on tap went down well...
A perfect B&B place. Rooms are well maintained, clean and spacious. There are no controls to change room temperature for warmer months, but there is a fan to cool you down. Great location as well.

A large group of us recently stayed here for 3 nights and there is nothing we could fault!
The location is perfect, rooms were warm & cosy with everything you need.
Breakfast was amazing and they were very accommodating for any changes to the menus which is especially helpful as we had 4 children with us!
We also had the Sunday lunch which again was amazing - we had over 12 people all eating sunday lunch and everything came out together with no issues (the restaurant was also full) so it was quite impressive!
The food and drinks prices where reasonable and reflected the area we were staying in.
All the staff went above and beyond with every request and believe me we had quite a few! Everyone was happy to help and made us feel very welcome.
I can honestly say we had no problems and thoroughly enjoyed our stay - we can be quite picky so it makes a change for us all to leave a hotel/ bar & restaurant with no complaints.
The only slight improvement I would recommend is more accesible plug sockets in the room but for this to be the only thing we can comment on then they're are definitely
doing things right!

We’ve stayed here a few times recently while visitinh family. The team at the Rose & Crown are always so welcoming and can’t do enough for you. The food is excellent, great breakfasts and the coffee is top-notch too!
Good beer and drink selection and a welcoming atmosphere.
The rooms are to a high standard, clean, comfy bed and good showers too.

Cracking pub just off the main square, great ales and a good selection of spirits.
Food was excellent, albeit a bit pricey.

Couldn't fault our food here....very nice, and staff particularly the hard working waitresses were very friendly, professional and attentive. The only downside was when a large group of loud middle aged men came in and were totally oblivious to everyone around them ....their loud voices took over the space and we couldn't hear ourselves speak and we saw other people leave. However, when we mentioned this to the waitress she kindly offered to move us to the quieter snug. A difficult situation for a young lady to handle but she did very professionally.

Friendly staff, always clearing tables, clean and tidy inside and out.
Very central, easy access to all local places and the castle and parks. Lovely rooms( we were in the ones in the building around the corner) the breakfasts included with staying were delicious and gave good choice. We had lunch there too, starters were sufficient for lunch, really tasty too. Definately recommend as a place to stay and to eat.
Excellent B&B in the heart of Warwick. The accommodation was dog friendly and very comfortable, the breakfast delicious. Highly recommended and would definitely stay there again with pleasure.
Right on the square, gets the sun in the afternoon and lovely bistro food. Not cheap but what is nowadays?! Recommend the little Jimmy butler sausages as a good value bar snack to share over a pint!
Food was delicious. Hummus was weirdly amazing for a pub in Warwick. 15 of us and everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. Service was helpful and quick. Massively above our expectations and we’re a picky bunch.
Had drinks and finger buffet here post Warwick Races. Food was superb and staff were very friendly.

2023 update. Stayed here again, everything was as perfect as our first stay last year. Loved everything. We will be back again. The staff were really great with our dog who is nervous. Got us a nice quiet table where he felt safe. The waitress was amazing and very helpful.
Fantastic staff, food and atmosphere. I had the chicken and it was amazing, we also stayed here for the night and the rooms were great and the choice of breakfast options were the best we have had and we stay away alot. We will be back the next time we head down this way. Totally love the Rose and Crown.
