Just a ten minute stroll from the Premier Inn is this little gem. I am Gluten Free and to be able to eat a burger, in a bun, is such a treat. It was abolutely delicious. Then, to have the choice of three different GF beers was just heaven. I will be recommending you to all the GF and Coeliac groups. You show that GF food is not difficult to do :)

Visited during a canal-side walk... it looks like a traditional pub, so I wasn't expecting a huge amount of choice food-wise... however the menu was varied and extensive, the staff and chef were really accommodating of my dietary requirements (gluten allergy) and the food was delicious, well-presented and a generous serving. Really looking forward to my next visit :-)

Staying in the nearby Premier Inn and didn’t care for indifferent service and food I walked to the Cape. Really warm welcome from the staff, a good selection of ales on pump. I decided to go for the Black Pudding Scotch Egg and the Shin of Beef Pie. Wow! Some of the best pub food I have sampled. Freshly cooked to perfection. If I lived nearby I would probably spend quite a bit of time in this wonderful pub! Great location and great food, with really good beer. Pretty perfect!

Veggie roast was heaven on a plate. The mixed roast looked damn good too. Warwick's best kept secret? Not for much longer!

We discovered this fantastic pub earlier in Summer, stopping in on a Sunday and seeing the lovely Sunday lunches being served. We returned to the area for a short stopover en route South, and made a point of returning. We had a fantastic meal...don't miss the Scotch Egg, best we have ever had! Main course.. a pair of delicious and hearty pies, with crisp fresh mixed seasonal veggies, and silky mash. Great choice of craft beers and nice wine choice.

A nice homely pub next to the canal, a short walk from Warwick town centre. Good range of cask ales, plenty of outside seating.

Have not been to this pub in over ten years after walking down the canal. New owners are great atmosphere is very welcoming staff made you welcome. Most of all the food was great. Went on a Sunday and I had the mixed meat which normally you get a small bit of everything but not here. 2 slices of each meat. Bloody lovely. Forgot to take pics of the Sunday dinner as I was too busy eating but remembered when dessert came out which was top nothing as well. Fully recommended it

Fabulous pub, great atmosphere and food to match! One of the greatest things about this pub are the amazing crew who look after you whether you’re a local or not. I love a trip to the Cape (probably a little too much). Good honest food, friendly staff, traditional interior and fabulous sunny days by the canal. In the winter you have a warm fire and the Sunday lunch is well known as a cracker! Well worth a visit.

A regular eating and drinking spot whenever I visit the UK and stay with relatives. Very close, good food, great atmosphere right next to the canel. Quite a challenge with a wheelchair bound person but doable if you stay outside (which we generally do). Only gripe is that their cost of beer is alot higher than other local pubs.

Soon as I walked in, did realized that I made very good choice to pop down here, staff is Super Friendly and very helpfull. Very compact draught beer selection will suit to satisfy any type of beer lover, like me ;-) As i come for dinner , ordered their very famous Scotch egg as my starter , felling full before mains arrived and without a doubt that was the BEST! scotch egg I ever ate ,"And Im not even lying " :-) I had pie and mash as a main , but it can't beat their famouse Scotch Egg. Highly reccomend this pub , and many thanks to owner , all staff and also very friendly guests.

The owners were so helpfull when we needed a mooring at the back, food was great and the service from staff was excellent. After a wet day of boating the landlord sorted a table out on a busy Sunday evening. Will definitely recommend this place, and will visit again.

We walked in around 9pm on a Monday night and were amazed, we couldn't get a seat and the quiz was awesome. Stood at the bar with our dog which wasn't an issue and enjoyed the night. Was so shocked how busy it was. Will certainly visit again.
