Wonderful Italian restaurant in the heart of Warwick - the menu options are excellent and being back memories of travelling to Italy and Venice in particular given with examples of food from great restaurants such as Harry's Bar (Venice). The seafood dishes are amazing and the hazelnut cake is the desert of choice.

Amazing food, lovely ambience and decor, really attentive and quick service. Not overly attentive either - they let you get on with your delicious food with minimal interruption and yet manage to make you feel properly looked after - they've nailed the balance! Thanks for a great anniversary dinner!!

Absolutely fantastic, authentic Italian food not like you get at the usual chains! Reminded us of our holidays in Italy. One of the best restaurants in the area.

Superb Valentine's meal! Friendly attentive staff, but thankfully not overbearing. Lovely ambiance, without being cheesey. Will definitely be back, to sample the main menu!

Yet another gem in this wonderful small town - you need a week at least to enjoy such a wealth of fantastic eateries and bars. The Micatto is a superb example of Italian life without actually going to Italy and everyone in the area should take advantage of such a gift. Grazzi !!!!

We had one of the most pleasant surprises ever, this place including it's deco, atmosphere, staff, service and quality has nothing to envy to places like the IVY Cafe or restaurants of similar standard. It was absolutely wonderful and perfect in every way and the quality of the food just outstanding, even the simplest dish is made so well that it will leave you speechless.

Excellent quality food, well thought through and extremely vibrant flavours. Very attentive service. A little on the high price side but that reflects the quality throughout your experience. Would recommend to those looking for authentic Italian food.

I’m not the easiest customer to please when it comes to Italian restaurants but I don’t have a bad word to say about this place. Great choice on the menu, excellent fresh food. Not too fussy but equally not old fashioned. My favourite Italian in the area

We happened across Micatto 3 years ago on a very very cold Sunday afternoon when every other place was closed. They were full but very kindly accommodated our family of four at the bar. The food was delicious! On our return to Warwick this year we looked up Micatto and booked a table in advance. We were not disappointed. For antipasti we ordered calamari, zucchine fritte and asparagi con fontina. Warning the zucchine fritte is enormous and best shared. The calamari was superb and disappeared very quickly. The asparagus was on the cold side according to my OH. The table next to us ordered the caprese and prosciutto e mozzarella - both which looked delicious. Our kids ordered pasta (of course). They both loved their choices of tagliatelle al ragú and paccheri con salsiccia. The main size tagliatelle was a very generous size and almost too much for my 11 year old. I ordered the vitello al limone and my OH ordered the sea bass off the fish menu. We also ordered a range of fabulous sides including a delicious green salad (lightly dressed), an absolutely delicious tomato and red onion salad, green beans and the most divine potatoes. All our meals were very generous portions, except my veal which was perfect with the addition of sides - and all were very tasty. We couldn’t resist finishing with dessert. My OH could only manage one of the homemade truffles but our kids devoured their pannacotta. They were a bit sweet for my taste but had a lovely vanilla flavour. I went with the affogato with their specially imported vanilla icecream. Delicious and it was beautifully served in a copper dish which kept the icecream from fully melting which was perfect. Micatto has wonderful decor. It feel luxurious but still maintains a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful. Although our kids were the only ones in the restaurant they were made to feel welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would recommend it to anyone in Warwick.

Was in Warwick for the day and found this place on Trip Adviser (My cousin had reviewed it and he likes great food - I wasn’t disappointed!). Think of this like an Italian Ivy - sumptuous and great food. The fish menu caught my eye - so did the steaks (but I’d had one yesterday) and the sea bass cooked in a salt crust - delighted that it was served at the table with the theatre of the crust being removed and filleted. We also had the olives and zucchini to start - please don’t miss these - they are amazing. All in all a great find.

The place is nice. The Italian cuisine is pretty authentic. Dishes are well presented and the look and feel of the place is quite posh but not overdone. I just found my dishes a little bit too salty but overall good food quality. Price is quite high. I had the chicken livery as appetizer which was quite tasty. Definitively worth a visit if you are in the area.
