We love visiting Thomas Oken Tea Rooms, they never disappoint us with their food. Our Americans friends visited the tea room on our recommendation back in Sep/Oct 2016, they too loved the tea room as some of them never experienced an English tea room.

Best coffee and walnut cake ever! Me and my husband were staying in Stratford to see the Scottish play and we stumbled on this lovely tea room on our travels to Warwick. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area would might not know of this charming tea room.

I came for lunch for my birthday with my mother. We've been before and love it there. It was a lovey treat and, as always, the food was excellent and the staff were lovely. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Warwick.

Great selection of sandwiches, teas and cakes all presented beautifully in vintage crockery. Even better, they have gluten free versions which are delicious! Such a historic feel to the place, staff are very warm and welcoming

Visited while on holiday. Beautiful little place. The cakes were to die for...best brownie I have ever tasted in my life! Wish we lived closer so we could visit again.

Not got a bad word to say about this lovely place. Just had a wonderfully indulgent afternoon tea treat with family for my birthday. Best scones ever! We pop in often, and every time is just as wonderful as the last. Thank you!!!

We had a fantastic afternoon tea. Lovely tea, delicious sandwiches (ham, Warwickshire cheese and beef) on granary, followed by lovely fresh scones with lashings of clotted cream and strawberry jam, and then fresh cakes .... we were stuffed!

Thomas Oken Tea Rooms have never failed to deliver. We’ve been so many times and they are always consistent. Plus I’m gluten free and they always cater for me.

This is my absolute favourite place for afternoon tea. We came in today to celebrate my Nan's 89th birthday. The girls are so helpful and friendly. The food is amazing! I will definitely be back. Thank you so much for helping to make Nan's day so special X

My husband and I popped in for a bit to eat after visiting Warwick Castle. We'd walked past the tea room on the way, and husband suggested checking it out as we walked past again. We received a friendly greeting. We asked for a table, and we waited while they got one ready. It was cosy. We shared a table with a suit of armour wearing a blanket. Service was quite quick. We each had a sandwich, a drink, and a cake. Everything was presented beautifully and tasted wonderful. The sandwich was presented in 4 quarters with some crisps and a little bit of salad on the side. The cake was quite a generous portion. The cost was about £27 in total, which we thought good value for the portion size and quality. Accessibility - the building is quite an odd shape with small doorways. It is level to get in, then a small ramp up to the café. It is quite narrow and small inside, so could be tricky for those with wheelchairs or mobility problems. There is a toilet outside, which is accessed around the side. It is not an accessible toilet.

A true credit to one of England's finest traditions - afternoon tea accompanied by a tasty treat. As a tourist it showed just how pleasant an experience as simple as afternoon tea could be.. The only negative is that I'll never be able to match the richness of that cream.. If you're going to the castle for the day, don't miss rounding out your visit here to give those feet a well earned rest in an authentic old building that my grandma would have just loved. A real gem!

We have eaten here 3 times during our stay in Warwick. The sandwiches, scones (fruit or plain) macaroni cheese and cottage pie were all very tasty with generous portions. The cakes are far too tasty 😄. Very friendly staff in a lovely old building.

Such a nice place with good food, especially the warm scones and the very aromatic tea! We had a very lovely time and appreciated that they didn’t have background music and we could have very good conversation! We recommend!

Visited in May 2023. The building is more than 5 centuries old. Is well kept with a cozy atmosphere The cream tea was excellent, with friendly staff and service to match. Highly recommended.

Just had afternoon tea and it was delicious. Their orange and almond cake is the best I've ever had, their scones are nice and warm, the sandwiches fill you up nicely and they have a lot of teas to choose from. The service was friendly and happy to see us. Definitely be back again.

We met friends for catch up and afternoon tea on a saturday afternoon, we had to wait for a free table. Eventually shown to one and orders taken, scones, teas, sandwiches. They came quickly and the scones were warm and sandwiches freshly made. We had English breakfast tea that tasted great especially in the China cups..
