Enjoyable afternoon with family, really nice lemon cake and carrot cakes and good coffee. Had the Coffee & Cake special whicj at £5.00 a head is good value. Plenty of seating outside and the kids loved feeding the ducks and fish. The fishing side looked well-maintained and is extensive. Good facilities for dogs with a good walking area close by.

It's probably the best outside seating area of any cafe I have visited in the UK. Today was a quiet day as there was no que to get served. I started with a coffee and muffin. The muffin was fine, as was the coffee. The bill came to £5. I then spotted on the far side of the seating area an ice cream sign. It was another gorgeous day, so I thought I would treat myself. This changed once I walked over there as it was also a hotdog, burger, etc. stall. I don't normally eat hotdogs. However, I thought I would try something new and had a Wild Boar hotdog (£5). It was different, slightly spicy, and very meaty. The bun for me was a little too hard. I might be wrong, but to me, it wasn't as fresh or as soft as I would like. It might have been the type of bun. The main thing was that it didn't spoil the hotdog. It just would have been better with a soft bun, in my opinion. Before I left, I visited the bathroom, which was very clean and tidy. I also had a duck and ducklings waddle past me while drinking my coffee. First time I have had that experience at a cafe.

Lovely location. Food was tasty freshly made but no frills Eg no garnish with toasty ect. so slightly expensive for what you got But quick service, condiments, milk and sauces self service . Lots of shade or indoor seating , and lovely views of the lake. Lots of ducks to watch. Very dog friendly. With a dog menu and ice cream.

This cafe improves with the passing of time and although it’s no Michelin star restaurant it offers a wide range of tasty hot food at sensible prices and served with a friendly welcome. The real catch is the setting where you can overlook the lake and watch the whopper fish contend with the ducks for titbits whilst you slurp on a proper brew or some frothy coffee with a posh name. Blink and you’ll miss it, a real treasure, tucked away down a quiet country lane. Bliss (cash or card accepted)

Set in beautiful surroundings, Partridge Lakes Cafe is a real gem. We visited last weekend, as a group of 19 people to celebrate a family birthday. Although we had no idea how to fish, Partridge Lakes were able to offer us a fantastic package for the whole family. We hired their fishing equipment and had guidance, help and instructions from staff, throughout the day. They were absolutely fab with the children, who ranged from 1yr to 14yrs. They were so patient, encouraging and enthusiastic. Nothing was too much trouble, despite lots of visitors that day. Our package included food too - we were able to select anything from the menu - finding food options that everyone is happy with is often a struggle with 9 children, but not here. There were so many options and everyone really enjoyed their food. The portions were huge (which we loved) and all the food arrived as one order, really quickly, so we were able to enjoy eating together. The pager system meant that we could fish right up until lunch was ready. The staff were absolutely brilliant and really made our celebrations so special. They ensured we had our own area to sit and our own dedicated fishing area so that I didnt need to worry that any excitement from the children would disturb experienced fishermen. It's lovely to know that this is on our doorstep and that we can hire everything we need to be able to enjoy a day of fishing! We will definitely be coming back and hope that this will now become a family tradition. Thank you Partridge Lakes!

Twas a grey day at Partridge Lakes Cafe, but this static food dispensing station does all the things that make you proud of British cuisine. Who could resist a bacon barm and a large freshly fried chips with a steaming cup of tea. Dispel at least some greyness, served quickly with a smile, indoor and outdoor seating, and if you're into fishing looks interesting too.

We have been plenty of times, with kids or for a business meeting, this place has got it all. Outside cover if the weather changes but you still want to sit outside. Food is lovely, services is great, and well organised and my dogs love watching the dugs and my kids feeding it. Plenty of parking and access to toilets. It has disabled access and away from roads, so safe for children. Haven't done any fishing, but heard is great too. We'll come again.

Lovely place to stop during a cycling trip or a walk, good food served from the cafe, shame we weren't allowed to walk around the lakes but I respect the angler's piece and quiet 😀 delicious ice cream sold from the boot. Recommended it;)

Always nice to have lunch here. The food is always freshly made and the new pager system makes waiting for food less stressful. My husband had the chicken burger with bacon and I had the club sandwich. They are VERY generous with the bacon, I had to take 2 strips out but otherwise we loved our food.

I spent a few hours fishing this morning. All set up and organised it was time for breakfast. I opted for a bacon and egg sandwich on brown toast. It’s a definite favourite of mine but a good one is hard to find. Wow! The girls at Partridge café certainly know what they are doing. Probably one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. Tasty bacon and an Egg just done, not the usual rubbery one. Great cup of tea to wash it down and all served up with a cheery smile and at a busy time. I’m not that regular at Partridge at the moment but I’ll be making more effort to visit if only for the cafes offerings. Thank you. I had a thoroughly good day today.

A lovely little oasis, it's on a fishery but in beautiful, tranquil surroundings and even though it was raining still beautiful, in the summer I would think a very lovely place to sit and ponder .

Big parking so no need to worry on that. Lots of great seats facing small ponds/lake and a fountain in the middle. Dog friendly place with treats for your furry friends. There's indoor seats as well but the outdoor is just stunning. There is a café which has great prices and the food was really good. They have certain events as well and there was a fishing match that time.
